Giants 30, Falcons 20: Odell Beckham Jr. caught a touchdown pass in his NFL debut and fellow rookie Andre Williams ran for a score as New York held off visiting Atlanta for its third straight win.
Eli Manning went 19-of-30 for 200 yards and two touchdowns while Beckham, who sat out the first four games with a hamstring injury, caught four passes for 44 yards for the Giants (3-2). Williams ran for 65 yards and Rueben Randle hauled in a TD pass for New York, which held the top offense in the league to seven points in the second half.
Matt Ryan completed 29-of-45 passes for 316 yards with one touchdown and one interception as the Falcons (2-3) dropped to 0-3 on the road. Antone Smith took a screen pass 74 yards for a TD with 5:37 left in the third quarter, but Atlanta gained only 104 yards the rest of the second half.
The Giants held on the goal line late in the first half, leaving the Falcons with a 20-yard field goal and 13-10 advantage at the break. Smith slipped one tackle and raced up the left sideline to give Atlanta a 20-10 cushion before New York began to come back.
Williams capped an 81-yard drive with a 3-yard TD burst and Beckham fought through some contact to haul in a 15-yard scoring pass with 10:02 remaining in the fourth that gave the Giants a 24-20 lead. Josh Brown connected for a 50-yard field goal and hit another from 26 yards out with 2:08 to play to make it a 10-point advantage.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Giants RB Rashad Jennings left in the third quarter with a knee injury and did not return. … New York is over .500 for the first time since finishing 2012 with a 9-7 record. … Atlanta DE - and former Giant - Osi Umenyiora recorded the lone sack on Manning.
