Ravens 9, Chiefs 6: Justin Tucker kicked three field goals and Ray Rice ran for 102 yards on 17 carries as visiting Baltimore edged Kansas city in a turnover-filled game.
Tucker converted kicks of 28, 26 and 39 yards as the Ravens (4-1) evened the all-time series between the clubs after losing the first three meetings.
Baltimore's Joe Flacco failed in his attempt for a third straight 300-yard passing performance, completing 13 of 27 attempts for 187 yards with one interception. His biggest play came with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, when he scrambled for 16 yards on 3rd-and-15, forcing Kansas City to used its final two timeouts.
Matt Cassel was even more ineffective for the Chiefs (1-4), as he was 9 of 14 for 92 yards and two interceptions. Brady Quinn came on and went 3 of 3 for 32 yards but was unable to lead the team to a winning score.
Ryan Succop kicked a pair of field goals and Jamaal Charles rushed 30 times for 140 yards for Kansas City, which also lost two fumbles after committing six turnovers last week in a loss to San Diego.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Kansas City RB Peyton Hillis (ankle) and DE Glenn Dorsey (calf) missed their third straight game. ... Baltimore improved to 13-2 when Rice gains 100-plus yards on the ground. ... Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe led all receivers with six catches, but Ravens WR Anquan Boldin gained the most yards with 82 on four receptions.
