Giants 27, Redskins 23: Eli Manning passed for 337 yards and found Victor Cruz for a late 77-yard touchdown to give host New York its first NFC East victory of the season.
Cruz finished with seven catches for 131 yards and Ahmad Bradshaw and Andre Brown both scored on the ground for the Giants (5-2), who lost twice to Washington in 2011.
Manning needed only 19 seconds to complete his 24th career fourth-quarter comeback. Cruz set up in the slot and beat three defenders down the field before hauling in a strike from Manning with 1:13 left.
The Redskins (3-4) had taken the lead two plays earlier thanks to rookie Robert Griffin III, who kept the drive alive on fourth-and-10 with his legs, cutting back and faking out a pair of defenders before finding Logan Paulsen to convert the first down. Griffin scrambled 24 yards for another first down to get into Giants territory before floating a perfect pass to Santana Moss in the end zone, giving Washington a 23-20 edge with 1:32 left.
The Redskins rushed for 248 yards but were undone by four second-half turnovers, including a fumble with 29 seconds left that allowed the Giants to run out the clock.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Redskins TE and leading receiver Fred Davis injured his left Achilles tendon in the first quarter and has been lost for the season. … Washington had turned the ball over five times in its first six games. … Griffin completed 20 of 28 passes for 258 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and carried nine times for 89 yards.
