Colts 19, Titans 13: Rookie Andrew Luck threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Vick Ballard in overtime to lift visiting Indianapolis over Tennessee.
Luck, the No. 1 overall pick, guided the Colts 80 yards in nine plays, relying heavily on the running of Donald Brown before connecting with Reggie Wayne for 20 yards and finding Ballard two plays later for the winning touchdown 4:49 into the extra session.
Ballard broke the plane of the goal line after launching himself from just inside the 5-yard line and the touchdown was upheld after a video review to give the Colts (4-3) their second straight v victory.
Luck finished 26-of-38 for 297 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also led the Colts on a 14-play, 80-drive capped by Delone Carter's 1-yard run to tie the score at 13-13 with 3:24 to play in regulation.
Matt Hasselbeck, making his fourth straight start in place of the injured Jake Locker, was 22-for-29 for 236 yards and had a 23-yard touchdown pass to Kendall Wright for the Titans (3-5), who eschewed a potential 58-yard field goal attempt by Rob Bironas with 56 seconds to play.
Chris Johnson rushed for 99 yards on 21 carries for Tennessee while Brown had 80 yards on 14 carries and Ballard added 55 yards on 12 rushes for Indianapolis.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Hasselbeck's scoring toss to Kendall Wright was the 200th TD pass of his career, making him the 32nd QB in history to reach that milestone. ... Titans OT Michael Roos had his streak of 119 consecutive starts snapped after undergoing an appendectomy Monday. Teammate Will Witherspoon (hamstring) also saw his streak of 117 straight starts come to an end.
