49ers 31, Titans 17: Colin Kaepernick passed for 199 yards and ran for a score, and Frank Gore rushed for two touchdowns as San Francisco won its fourth in a row with a victory at Tennessee.
Kaepernick was 13-of-21 and added 68 yards on the ground while Gore had 70 yards on 24 carries for the 49ers (5-2), who have outscored their opponents 132-51 during their winning streak. Anquan Boldin had five catches for 74 yards, and Vernon Davis made four receptions for 62 yards.
Jake Locker started for the first time since injuring his knee and hip Sept. 29 against the Jets and threw for 326 yards and two TDs, but still couldn't prevent the Titans (3-4) from losing their third in a row. Kendall Wright made nine receptions for 98 yards, and Chris Johnson had four catches for 71 yards and a score to go with 39 yards rushing on nine carries.
Kaepernick guided San Francisco to a 17-0 halftime lead, throwing for 101 yards and running for 50 more. His 20-yard scoring run made it 10-0 midway through the second quarter, and Gore added a 1-yard plunge with 2:07 left before the break.
Gore scored on another 1-yard run on the opening drive of the second half. Locker had touchdown passes of 66 and 26 yards to Johnson and Delanie Walker, respectively, in the fourth quarter, but Kassim Osgood's recovery of a muffed punt by Darius Reynaud in the end zone kept San Francisco comfortably ahead.
