Ravens 34, Saints 27: Justin Forsett rushed for a career-high 182 yards and two touchdowns and Baltimore handed sinking New Orleans its third straight home loss.
Baltimore defensive back Will Hill stepped in front of Saints tight end Jimmy Graham and picked off a pass and returned it 44 yards for a touchdown to break a tie in the third quarter as the Ravens (7-4) won their second straight and completed a sweep of teams in the NFC South Division. Joe Flacco finished 18-for-24 for 243 yards and a touchdown for Baltimore, which moved into a three-way tie for second place in the tightly wound AFC North.
Drew Brees completed 35-for-45 passes for 420 yards, including a 26-yard strike to Marques Colston in the closing seconds of the first half to provide a short-lived 17-14 lead for New Orleans (4-7), which remained tied for first in the NFC South. Graham, who was frustrated for much of the night by Hill's blanket coverage, finished with six grabs for 47 yards and a pair of touchdowns, the second of which came in the game's final minute.
The Ravens jumped out to a 7-0 lead when Flacco connected with Steve Smith from 15 yards out but the Saints tied it when Brees hooked up with Graham from 10 yards out for the tight end's eighth touchdown of the season. Forsett scored on a 13-yard run early in the second quarter to give Baltimore a 14-7 lead, but the Saints claimed the halftime advantage on a field goal by Shayne Graham and the scoring pass from Brees to a leaping Colston with just 17 seconds left.
Justin Tucker sandwiched a pair of field goals around Hill's pick-six to give the Ravens a 27-17 lead with 10:59 to play. The Saints closed to 27-20 on a 34-yard field goal by Shayne Graham but their defense was shredded by the Ravens on the next drive and Forsett helped seal the contest with a 20-yard touchdown run with 2:53 to play.
