Packers 53, Eagles 20: Aaron Rodgers passed for 341 yards and three touchdowns as host Green Bay routed Philadelphia.
Eddie Lacy scored twice, once on a short run and also on a 32-yard reception for the Packers (7-3), who moved into a tie with Detroit atop the NFC North Micah Hyde scored on a 75-yard punt return, Julius Peppers had a 52-yard interception return for TD, Casey Hayward scored on a 49-yard fumble return and Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams also had receiving scores.
Mark Sanchez passed for 346 yards and two touchdowns for the Eagles (7-3) but also threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles. LeSean McCoy rushed for 88 yards on 23 carries and Jeremy Maclin caught nine passes for 93 yards and a touchdown.
The Packers took control quickly with 17 first-quarter points, including Rodgers’ scoring pass to Adams and Hyde’s punt return. Nelson and Lacy scored touchdowns in the second quarter while Philadelphia’s Cody Parkey kicked two field goals as Green Bay led 30-6 at the half.
The interception return by Peppers made it 39-6 with 5:56 left in the third before the Eagles found the end zone on Sanchez’s 10-yard scoring pass to rookie Jordan Matthews. Lacy added a receiving TD in which he bulled through defenders to reach the end zone to make it 46-13 early in the final quarter and Hayward returned a fumble for a score to push the margin to 40 points with 10:39 to play.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Packers, who scored 55 against Chicago last week, are the third team in the last three seasons to score 50 points in back-to-back games, joining Seattle (2012) and Denver (2013). …… Matthews caught five passes for 107 yards for his second straight 100-yard outing. … Green Bay WR Randall Cobb had season highs for both receptions (10) and yardage (129).
