Ravens 28, Dolphins 13: Joe Flacco passed for two touchdowns and ran for another to propel visiting Baltimore over Miami in a matchup of AFC playoff contenders.
Justin Forsett contributed 71 rushing yards and a touchdown while Steve Smith caught a TD as part of a seven-reception, 70-yard performance after being held to one catch for two yards in last week's last-second loss to San Diego. Kamar Aiken set career highs with 65 yards on six catches - including a TD toss from Flacco, who finished 25-of-33 for 269 yards as Baltimore (8-5) won for the third time in four games.
The Dolphins (7-6) squandered an early 10-0 lead despite a turnover-free performance from Ryan Tannehill (23-of-33, 227 yards), who threw an early touchdown pass to Brian Hartline but manufactured little offense after the first quarter. Lamar Miller gained 53 rushing yards while Jarvis Landry led Miami with six receptions for 55 yards.
Miami got off to a fast start, receiving a 46-yard field goal from Caleb Sturgis on its opening possession and making it 10-0 with an 11-play drive that Tannehill capped with a 3-yard scoring strike to Hartline. Following three punts and an interception on its first four drives, Baltimore finally got going right before halftime as Flacco found Smith on third-and-goal from the 1 with two seconds left in the half.
The Ravens went for it on fourth-and-1 from their own 34 early in the third quarter on a drive that ended with Flacco's 13-yard TD strike to Aiken, although Sturgis answered early in the fourth with a 34-yard kick to draw the Dolphins within 14-13. Forsett helped Baltimore extend its lead with a 2-yard touchdown run with 8:09 remaining and a 44-yard gain that helped set up Flacco's 1-yard plunge into the end zone with 3:34 left.
