Ravens 20, Jaguars 12: Joe Flacco hit Owen Daniels for Baltimore's only offensive touchdown midway through the third quarter, which proved to be enough in an ugly home victory against Jacksonville.
Kamar Aiken returned a blocked punt for an early touchdown for the Ravens (9-5), who have won four of their last five games to remain in the thick of the AFC playoff race. Flacco passed for 221 yards while Justin Forsett carried 16 times but did not run for more than six yards on any carry, finishing with a total of 48 on the ground.
Jaguars rookie Blake Bortles went 21-of-37 for 210 yards with an interception while Toby Gerhart led the rushing attack for Jacksonville (2-12) with 54 yards. Cecil Shorts III and Allen Hurns each made six catches for a combined 146 yards for the Jaguars, who successfully converted a surprise onside kick and executed a fake punt but still lost for the sixth time in seven games.
Jacksonville's Josh Scobee kicked four first-half field goals - two in each quarter - as the visitors held a 12-10 lead at intermission. The only first-half TD for Baltimore came on the game's opening drive, when Darian Stewart smothered a Jaguars' punt and Aiken ran it in from 11 yards out.
Flacco orchestrated a six-play, 80-yard drive midway through the third quarter and found a wide-open Daniels from 3 yards out to put Baltimore in front 17-12. Jacksonville punted on its next three possessions before turning over the ball on downs in Baltimore territory, and the Jaguars' last gasp ended when Bortles' desperation throw was picked off.
