Dolphins 24, Jaguars 3: Ryan Tannehill threw two touchdown passes and host Miami's defense shut down the depleted Jacksonville offense as the Dolphins won for just the second time in six games.
Reggie Bush rushed for 104 yards on 21 carries and Tannehill was 22-of-28 for 220 yards for the Dolphins (6-8), who also got field goals of 53, 30 and 31 yards from Dan Carpenter.
Jaguars (2-12) quarterback Chad Henne, who played four seasons with the Dolphins, did not fare well in his homecoming. He was 18-of-34 for 221 yards and did not have a touchdown or an interception.
Josh Scobee capped Jacksonville's opening drive with a 37-yard field goal to give the Jaguars a 3-0 lead, but Miami scored 24 consecutive points as the defense allowed just 299 total yards.
Tannehill gave the Dolphins a 10-3 halftime lead with a 4-yard toss to Jorvorskie Lane with 1:56 left in the second quarter, and he put it away with a 2-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Fasano with 3:17 left in the fourth.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Jaguars have lost five straight road games. … Miami's Brian Hartline had five catches for 77 yards, putting him over the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career. He is only the eighth player in franchise history to reach the milestone. … Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts caught six passes for 101 yards, and rookie Justin Blackmon had six catches for 93 yards.
