Titans 14, Jets 10: Chris Johnson scored on a 94-yard run and host Tennessee capitalized on five turnovers to end New York's slim playoff hopes.
Quarterback Jake Locker scored the winning touchdown on a 13-yard run with 20 seconds left in the third quarter and the Titans (5-9) picked off Mark Sanchez four times to snap a four-game losing streak.
Despite the comedy of errors, New York (6-8) miraculously had a chance to pull out the game when Tennessee punter Brett Kern booted a 19-yard punt from his own end zone, giving the Jets the ball at the Titans' 25-yard line with 47 seconds to play.
But Sanchez couldn't handle a low snap from the shotgun and the Titans' Zach Brown pounced on the fumble to secure the victory despite committing 14 penalties for 111 yards and getting only 149 yards passing from Locker.
Jason McCourty and Michael Griffin had two interceptions each of Sanchez, who finished 13 of 28 for 131 yards with the four picks and a 17-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Cumberland that gave New York a 10-7 lead with 3:19 left in the third quarter.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Tim Tebow replaced Sanchez for a series following Johnson's TD in the second quarter and rushed three times for 15 yards, threw an incomplete pass well out of bounds and drew a delay-of-game penalty. ... Johnson rushed for 122 yards on 21 carries, including his NFL-record sixth career touchdown of at least 80 yards. ... The Jets had an apparent 4-yard TD pass to Cumberland on their first possession overturned by video review when it was ruled the ball hit the ground in the end zone.
