Colts 23, Chiefs 7: Donald Brown compiled 110 yards from scrimmage and scored two touchdowns as visiting Indianapolis forced four turnovers in an impressive win over Kansas City.
Andrew Luck was 26-of-37 for 241 yards with a touchdown pass to Brown as the Colts (10-5) won for the fifth time in their last six trips to Kansas City. Brown also added a long scoring run and Adam Vinatieri booted three field goals for Indianapolis.
Jamaal Charles rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes for 38 yards, but the Chiefs (11-4) didn't do much else right. Alex Smith was just 16-of-29 for 153 yards with two interceptions and lost a fumble a week after recording a perfect rating in a win at Oakland.
The Chiefs went 59 yards in four plays on their opening series, with Charles breaking a 31-yard TD run for a 7-0 lead, but it was all Indianapolis from there. Vinatieri kicked field goals of 46 and 45 yards in the second quarter and Brown took a screen pass 33 yards up the right sideline as the Colts took a 13-7 halftime lead.
After pressure from Robert Mathis forced Smith to float an interception on the opening series of the second half, Brown sprinted up the sideline again for a 51-yard touchdown run. Kansas City's five second-half drives ended with two punts, two interceptions and a fumble, as the Chiefs went minus-four in turnovers after entering the game with a plus-21 margin.
