The rested Oakland Raiders have a great opportunity to stretch their winning streak to three games in a row when they host the winless Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. After victories over Detroit and the Los Angeles Chargers, the Raiders enter Week 11 just a half-game behind the Kansas City Chiefs for first place in the AFC West.

Oakland visits the Chiefs on Dec. 1 as part of a closing stretch in which it plays four of six on the road and it hopes to enter that portion of the schedule on a good note, although nobody is taking the hapless Bengals for granted. "I know Cincinnati," Raiders head coach Jon Gruden told reporters. "I know those players. I know those coaches, two of them were on my staff last year. We're going to get their best shot, and we better be ready to go or else." The Bengals are one loss away from matching the worst start in franchise history and their longest losing streak at 10 games, which happened in 1993 and 2010. They don't seem to be getting any closer to breaking through after last week's 49-13 loss to Baltimore at home.

ABOUT THE BENGALS (0-9): Trying to maintain a positive outlook is a challenge amid an 0-9 start, but first-year coach Zac Taylor is confident he and his players will only be stronger because of it. "What we do know is this is the toughest stretch we're going to go through in our next 20 years here -- this is going to be the toughest one," Taylor told reporters. "And so we find out about the character of the people in this building and what the approach is going to be so that we can look back on this and say it made us stronger." Rookie Ryan Finley made his first start at quarterback last week and completed 16-of-30 passes for 167 yards with one touchdown and two turnovers, both of which were returned for scores.

ABOUT THE RAIDERS (5-4): Rookie running back Josh Jacobs sealed the dramatic 26-24 win over the Chargers on Nov. 7 with an 18-yard TD run, and he's averaging 100.8 yards on the ground over his last five games. That score gave Oakland a 5-1 record in games decided by single digits, and the team is taking pride in its identity as a tough unit. "We just found a way to win. That says so much about our team," quarterback Derek Carr told reporters after the win. "Some nights are just tougher than others. This was just one of those nights that was just tougher. You see our team with the resilience. No one cared, No one flinched."

2. Bengals RB Joe Mixon ran for a season-high 114 yards in the loss to the Ravens.

3. Cincinnati won the last three meetings, including a 30-16 triumph at home last year in which Mixon scored two TDs.
