Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks have made themselves at home on the road, with the NFL MVP contender posting a 116.2 quarterback rating to help his team win all five encounters outside of the Emerald City. Wilson and the Seahawks return from their bye and carry a three-game winning streak into Sunday's road tilt with the Philadelphia Eagles.

"That's all great ... but I don't think about the outside stuff," Wilson said Thursday of the widespread MVP conversation. "What helps is winning. What helps is finding a win in tough moments, and I look forward to that opportunity just to play one game at a time, one moment at a time and just embrace it all." Wilson, who leads the NFL in touchdown passes (23) and passer rating (114.9), engineered his league-best fifth game-winning drive of the season as Seattle recorded a 27-24 overtime victory over San Francisco on Nov. 11. Like the Seahawks, the Eagles reside one game behind their respective division leader after dropping a 17-10 decision to New England on Sunday. Philadelphia's schedule get significantly softer after Sunday's game, as the club visits Miami (2-8), hosts the New York Giants (2-8) and visits Washington (1-9).

ABOUT THE SEAHAWKS (8-2): Tyler Lockett is on target to make a speedy return from a horrific shin bruise he sustained against the 49ers, with the injury necessitating a trip to the hospital. Coach Pete Carroll told reporters that Seattle's leading receiver is trending toward playing against an Eagles' pass defense that has allowed an average of 170 yards through the air in the last three games. Josh Gordon and fellow former New England Patriot Jacob Hollister are also making their mark for the Seahawks, as the wideout made a key third-down reception in both the fourth quarter and overtime against the 49ers while the tight end finished with career highs in catches (eight) and receiving yards (62). While Hollister has three touchdowns in his last two games, rookie wideout DK Metcalf has found the end zone three times in the last three contests.

ABOUT THE EAGLES (5-5): Carson Wentz threw for just 214 yards with a touchdown last week versus the Patriots, but he didn't have much with which to work as injury-plagued Philadelphia returned from its bye. The Eagles' offense predictably sputtered, mustering just 3.9 yards per play without running back Jordan Howard (shoulder) and wideout Alshon Jeffery (knee). Howard still hasn't been cleared for contact, Jeffery sparingly practiced on Thursday and wide receiver Nelson Agholor was unable to participate as he deals with a knee injury. Starting right tackle Lane Johnson hasn't cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and is trending toward sitting out on Sunday, with first-round rookie Andre Dillard set to start in his place.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Wentz and Wilson have each thrown a touchdown pass in 13 consecutive regular-season games, the longest active streak in the NFL.

2. Seattle DE Jadeveon Clowney did not practice on both Wednesday and Thursday as he deals with knee and hip issues.

3. Philadelphia RB Miles Sanders is the lone rookie this season with 300-plus yards rushing and 300-plus yards receiving.
