Last Meeting ( Nov 17, 2019 ) Jacksonville 13, Indianapolis 33

The Indianapolis Colts took a step back after a 10-win campaign and a playoff berth a season ago in their first year under head coach Frank Reich. They will be playing for pride and a chance to finish with a .500 record when they end the season at the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Indianapolis was able to recover from an embarrassing Monday Night Football loss at New Orleans two weeks ago by routing Carolina 38-6 last Sunday to snap a four-game slide. "We have one more opportunity with this group of guys," Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett told reporters. "I think everybody has bought into that. ... We did that last week and we have another good opportunity to do that." The Jaguars have dropped six of seven following a 4-4 start and will finish with a losing record for the eighth time in nine seasons. "A very disappointing year," coach Doug Marrone told reporters. "It's difficult when a team is not doing well. You want your team to be doing well so your fans can have some pride and joy. ... I'm truly sorry that I've let so many people down and that I couldn't have done a better job."

TV: 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS. LINE: Colts -3.5. O/U: 43

ABOUT THE COLTS (7-8): Brissett's struggles in recent weeks have cast some doubt on his future as the team's starting quarterback, as the 27-year-old has completed just 52.5 percent of his passes with 8.9 yards per completion over his last two games. Running backs Marlon Mack and Jordan Wilkins combined for 179 rushing yards and a pair of scores in the win over the Panthers. Nyheim Hynes was the star with a pair of punt returns for touchdowns.

ABOUT THE JAGUARS (5-10): Gardner Minshew's fast start created some buzz in Jacksonville, but the play has been a bit more uneven since the rookie quarterback regained the starting role from Nick Foles at the beginning of the month. Minshew completed just 13-of-31 passes in last week's 24-12 loss at Atlanta, but he does have five TD passes and one interception in four December starts. "He was able to come in and sustain a level for us," Marrone told reporters of Minshew's ability to take over for Foles twice this year and avoid much, if any, drop in production.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Mack, who ran for 108 yards and a touchdown in the last meeting with the Jaguars, has his first 1,000-yard season.

2. Jacksonville has given up an average of 469 total yards over the last three weeks.

3. The Jaguars have won four straight meetings at home.

PREDICTION: Colts 23, Jaguars 20
