Last Meeting ( Apr 3, 2019 ) Calgary 1, Anaheim 3

The Anaheim Ducks on Sunday aim for the best start at home in franchise history when they host the Calgary Flames. Anaheim has begun a season 4-0-0 for the third time overall and first since 2014-15 after posting a 4-2 triumph over Carolina on Friday.

Jakob Silfverberg recorded what proved to be the winning goal in his 500th NHL game as the Ducks netted the first four tallies after scoring the final five in a 5-2 triumph over Buffalo two days earlier in the opener of their three-game homestand. Rickard Rakell set up a pair of tallies Friday, giving him two goals and four assists during his four-game point streak. Calgary has struggled away from home this season, dropping to 1-4-0 after suffering a 4-1 defeat in Los Angeles on Saturday. Mikael Backlund converted a penalty shot late in the third period to avoid a shutout for the Flames, whose lone win on the road came in a shootout.

TV: 9 p.m. ET, Sportsnet360 (Calgary), Prime Ticket (Anaheim)

ABOUT THE FLAMES (4-4-1): Johnny Gaudreau is tied for the team lead with seven points despite entering Sunday's matchup with a four-game drought. Elias Lindholm tops Calgary with five goals but had his three-game streak halted Saturday as he was kept off the scoresheet for the third time in nine contests. The 24-year-old Swedish center, who netted a career-high 27 tallies during his first season with the Flames in 2018-19, is four shy of 100 for his career.

ABOUT THE DUCKS (6-2-0): In addition to Rakell, veteran defenseman Cam Fowler is riding a four-game point streak during which he has recorded a goal and three assists. Despite its success at home, Anaheim remains ice cold on the power play as it ranks second-last in the league at 5.3 percent. The Ducks are 1-for-19 with the man advantage after failing to convert their lone opportunity Friday, with the only goal being scored at home by captain Ryan Getzlaf on Wednesday.
