Sergei Bobrovsky has flustered the Philadelphia Flyers ever since the team traded away the goaltender after two seasons in June 2012. Although Bobrovsky has changed uniforms again, the two-time Vezina Trophy recipient hopes to keep the Flyers under his thumb on Tuesday when Florida Panthers host Philadelphia in Sunrise, Fla.
Bobrovsky, who signed a seven-year, $70 million contract with the Panthers this summer, boasts a sterling 14-3-1 record with two shutouts, a 2.14 goals-against average and .927 save percentage in 18 career encounters against the Flyers. While the early reviews aren't glowing, the 31-year-old Russian showed signs of shaking off his slow start by making 30 saves on Saturday as Florida posted a 4-3 victory over the New York Rangers. Philadelphia, on the other hand, let a three-goal lead in the third period go by the boards on Saturday and sustained its third straight loss (0-1-2) with a 4-3 shootout defeat against the New York Islanders. "Obviously we had some bad turnovers, myself included. We have to come out of that with a win," forward Joel Farabee said. "At the end of the day, we have to win games and everybody has to bear down."

ABOUT THE FLYERS (10-6-4): Philadelphia hopes to provide a jolt to its offense after calling up Morgan Frost from Lehigh Valley on Tuesday and sending fellow forward Carsen Twarynski down to the American Hockey League affiliate. Frost, who was selected by the Flyers in the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft, has collected 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 16 games with the Phantoms. Frost will join the second line and play his natural center position, allowing captain Claude Giroux to shuffle to the wing along with Travis Konecny.
ABOUT THE PANTHERS (10-5-5): Florida's fourth-ranked power play has converted at least once in each of its last nine games, going 11-for-30 as a team with captain Aleksander Barkov responsible for scoring four of those goals. Jonathan Huberdeau has collected a team-high 11 assists with the man advantage this season while defenseman Keith Yandle also has 11 points (one goal, 10 assists) on the power play. While Barkov saw his seven-game point streak halted on Saturday, Yandle recorded three assists against the Rangers to extend his point streak to five games (one goal, nine assists) and earn NHL Third Star of the Week honors on Monday.
OVERTIME
1. Philadelphia C Kevin Hayes has been held without a point in 10 games while D Shayne Gostisbehere has failed to score a goal in his last 11.
