Jakub Voracek has found his scoring touch since being paired on a line with Sean Couturier and Oskar Lindblom. Voracek answered a goal drought that spanned a dozen games by scoring in each of his last two heading into the Philadelphia Flyers' road contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday.

"I feel like I have that swagger back," Voracek said after his one-timer from the left circle accounted for the lone goal in the third period of Philadelphia's 2-1 victory over Vancouver on Monday. The 30-year-old scored a goal and set up two others against his former team on Oct. 26 as the Flyers tallied five times in the third period and snapped a five-game losing skid to Columbus with a 7-4 victory. Boone Jenner scored twice in that contest and extended his point streak to four games (two goals, two assists) with his 100th career assist on Monday in the Blue Jackets' 1-0 win over Ottawa. Joonas Korpisalo turned aside all 25 shots he faced to record his second NHL shutout and boost his winning streak to a career-high four starts.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, NBC Sports Network, NBCS Philadelphia

ABOUT THE FLYERS (12-7-5): Couturier has collected 13 points (five goals, eight assists) and a plus-8 rating in the last 14 games, but it's his defensive play that has caught the eye of Voracek. "(Couturier) is one of best defensive forwards, putting up huge offensive numbers. He knows what to do to make the other top line miserable," Voracek said. James van Riemsdyk, who joined Kevin Hayes (one goal, two assists) and Voracek in recording three-point performances in the first encounter with Columbus, has been held off the scoresheet in each of his last eight games.

ABOUT THE BLUE JACKETS (10-9-4): Zach Werenski also assisted on Oliver Bjorkstrand's goal to extend his career-high point streak to seven games (three goals, six assists), which matches a franchise record for a defenseman -- set by Jaroslav Spacek in 2003 and matched by Bryan Berard two years later. Bjorkstrand's third-period tally boosted his point streak to four games (two goals, five assists) and gives him 15 goals in his last 33 regular-season contests. "I said to him on the bench, if there's someone who deserves that goal, it's you," Columbus coach John Tortorella said. "I thought he was playing really well. He's been really consistent. He's turning into that guy. That's what we expect out of him now -- how hard he is on the puck, how hard he is in that area, and the puck follows him around."

OVERTIME

1. Korpisalo has split a pair of decisions against Philadelphia after yielding six goals on 45 shots in last month's encounter.

2. The Flyers have scored two goals or fewer in regulation in eight of their last 10 games.

3. The Blue Jackets have recorded the first goal in eight consecutive contests.

PREDICTION: Blue Jackets 3, Flyers 2
