The Nashville Predators ignited their offense to score 10 non-shootout goals in their last two games after mustering nine in their previous five contests. The Predators aim to continue to keep the scoreboard operator busy on Saturday when the Vegas Golden Knights pay a visit to Bridgestone Arena.
Filip Forsberg has done his part by answering his two-assist performance in Wednesday's 5-4 victory at Washington with two goals the following night in a 6-5 shootout win over New Jersey. "We know the situation we're in and we need to string as many wins together as possible and obviously keep playing to the identity that we want and know that can be successful," the 25-year-old Swede said. Forsberg and the Predators likely will being looking to solve Marc-Andre Fleury, who served his one-game suspension for skipping the All-Star Game in Vegas' 4-3 victory over Carolina on Friday. The 35-year-old hopes the add rest did him good, as the three-time Stanley Cup winner limped into the All-Star break and bye week after surrendering 19 goals during his last six games (1-4-1).

ABOUT THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS (26-20-7): Paul Stastny collected a goal and an assist for the third time in four games as Vegas returned from the break to improve to 2-2-1 on its stretch of eight straight road contests. The 34-year-old has scored and set up a goal in the series versus Nashville, with his tally 1:52 into overtime giving the Golden Knights the win in November. Fellow forward Jonathan Marchessault also had a goal and an assist versus the Hurricanes to give him two of each in his last three games.
ABOUT THE PREDATORS (24-19-7): Captain Roman Josi set up a pair of goals against the Devils to give him 15 of his club-best 37 assists in his last 15 games while pushing his career point total to 399. The 29-year-old also had set up a goal in Nashville's 5-2 win versus Vegas on Oct. 15 and added two assists in the 4-3 overtime loss to the Golden Knights on Nov. 27. Pekka Rinne, who is expected to get the nod on Saturday, turned aside 33 of 35 shots in the first meeting with Vegas.

1. Vegas LW Max Pacioretty has recorded 10 points (seven goals, three assists) in 16 career meetings with Nashville.
2. Nashville C Ryan Johansen has four points (two goals, two assists) in his last four games after being held off the scoresheet in his previous six.
3. Golden Knights RW Mark Stone has two goals and an assist in two encounters with the Predators this season.
