St. Louis @ Anaheim preview
Honda Center
Last Meeting ( Jan 23, 2019 ) St. Louis 5, Anaheim 1
The St. Louis Blues enjoyed a stellar month of February, earning points in 13 of their 14 contests (12-1-1), but have yet to find the win column in March. The Blues make their third attempt at victory this month when they begin a three-game trek through California on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks.
St. Louis dropped a 5-2 decision at Carolina on Friday and suffered a 4-1 home loss the following night to Dallas for its first back-to-back regulation defeats since Dec. 29 and 31. The Blues, who have lost three straight on the road (0-2-1), are just one point ahead of the Stars for third place in the Central Division. Anaheim is seeking its first three-game winning streak since capturing four in a row from Dec. 9-17 after edging Colorado 2-1 at home on Sunday and posting a 3-1 road victory over Arizona two nights later. Jakob Silfverberg scored his team-leading 18th goal, eclipsing his total in 77 games last season, and added an assist for his second straight multi-point performance.

ABOUT THE BLUES (34-25-6): Brayden Schenn practiced on the top line on Tuesday and likely will return to the lineup against Anaheim after missing six games with an upper-body injury. The 27-year-old center, who ranks third on the team with 39 points, has landed on the scoresheet in 11 of his last 14 contests (two goals, 13 assists). Vladimir Tarasenko, who needs one assist to reach 200 for his career, leads the team with 27 goals but is in the midst of a five-game drought.
ABOUT THE DUCKS (26-32-9): Adam Henrique snapped a tie during a power play early in the third period on Tuesday to end his six-game point drought. The 29-year-old center is seven tallies away from hitting the 20-goal plateau for the fourth consecutive season. Rookie Troy Terry has scored twice in his last four games after failing to tally in his first 17 NHL contests.
