Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum

Last Meeting ( Mar 3, 2019 ) Philadelphia 4, NY Islanders 1

The New York Islanders ended last weekend with a listless performance against the Philadelphia Flyers, as the 4-1 setback resulted in their fifth loss in seven outings. After completing a home-and-home sweep of the NHL's worst team, the Islanders hope to exact a bit of revenge on Saturday when they host the Flyers at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

"It wasn't pretty the last two games, but four points is four points," said Anthony Beauvillier, who collected his third game-winning goal in the last seven contests during New York's 4-2 win over Ottawa on Thursday. The Islanders return to Uniondale to begin a three-game homestand versus Philadelphia, with the road team skating to victory in the first two encounters. Jakub Voracek (lower body) and Nolan Patrick (upper body) each sat out Sunday's 4-1 triumph over New York with respective injuries, but both forwards are expected to draw back into the lineup versus New York. "I'm good to go," said the 29-year-old Voracek, who had three goals and six assists in the four games that preceded his injury. "The days off helped. When I came off the bye week, I was re-energized again. ... I went away, got some rest, and have felt great since then. Hopefully, this will feel the same as after the bye week."

TV: 7 p.m. ET, NBCS Philadelphia, MSG-Plus (New York)

ABOUT THE FLYERS (32-27-8): Captain Claude Giroux scored and set up a goal in Wednesday's 5-3 setback to Washington, marking his third straight multi-point performance during his six-game point streak (three goals, eight assists). The 31-year-old leads the team in assists (52) and points (72), with two of each coming in Sunday's win over the Islanders. Fellow forward Sean Couturier, who has a club-best 27 goals, set up a pair of tallies versus the Capitals to notch his eighth multi-point effort in his last 16 contests.

ABOUT THE ISLANDERS (39-21-7): Valtteri Filppula recorded his 15th career two-goal performance on Thursday, helping the former Flyers forward reach the 15-goal plateau for the first time since the 2013-14 season. Captain Anders Lee, who has five of his team-leading 23 tallies in the last 10 games, collected one goal and three assists in New York's 6-1 romp over Philadelphia on Oct. 27. Mathew Barzal, who set up two tallies in that contest, is one assist shy of 100 for his career.

OVERTIME

1. Philadelphia G Brian Elliott, who will get the nod on Saturday, was the game's second star in the more recent contest against New York after turning aside 29 shots.

2. Islanders D Adam Pelech scored in Sunday's setback to give him three (two goals, one assist) of his 15 points this season coming against the Flyers.

3. Philadelphia C Travis Konecny has 18 points (10 goals, eight assists) in his last 20 games.

PREDICTION: Islanders 3, Flyers 2
