Prop bet #1: Clark can't clear this bar

Caitlin Clark is coming off her worst effort as a pro, scoring just three points in a 104-68 demolition at the hands of the New York Liberty. Her only field goal was a 3-point make off seven attempts, a lowly 14.3% rate.

Clark’s 3-point stroke has been off of late, and with a line of 2.5 makes on Friday against the Washington Mystics, the plus odds on the Under are very enticing.

She’s only crossed this mark twice in the last seven games, shooting a combined 15-for-56 over that stretch, a 26.7% clip.

Washington may be the league’s lone winless team, but one thing they have done well this year is defend the arc, allowing teams to shoot just 30.5%.

That’s a Top-4 mark in the W, and a defense that will contain the Indiana Fever star from distance.

Prop bet #2: This Wing has no prayer

After three straight games putting up 21 points or less, Arike Ogunbowale broke through in a big way against the Las Vegas Aces, dropping 31 points in a 95-81 loss. She draws the Los Angeles Sparks next, one of the teams that forced her to a rough 7-for-30 shooting effort en route to 20 points in their May 26 game.

Ogunbowale has struggled against the Sparks over the last two years, and that 24.5 line set for Friday is a little inflated after her breakout game, which might sound crazy for the W’s second-leading scorer.

In the last five games against L.A., though, she’s only been able to top that line once. She's scored 20 or less four other times, shooting 40% or less in all four.

Ogunbowale’s struggles against the Sparks are enough for me to take the Under on the Dallas Wings star.

Prop bet #3: Col' center

It’s been all-around excellence for Napheesha Collier of late, and it’s setting up for another standout performance as her Minnesota Lynx take on the Phoenix Mercury.

Collier is coming off leading Minny to a 86-62 win over the Sparks, scoring 25 points, nine rebounds and three assists. It’s the second straight game she’s bested a 36.5 points-rebounds-assists line, after scoring 24 points, grabbing 14 boards, and doling out four dimes in an 87-76 win over Dallas.

Dallas ranks 11th in points against while L.A. is ninth, and sandwiched in between them are the Mercury, who are allowing 84.3 points per game. On top of that, Phoenix is second-last in the league in rebounds allowed (36.8) and assists allowed (21.3).

Barring a blowout — the reason she failed to hit those numbers in her first meeting with Phoenix on May 31 — Collier should be hyper-productive.
