The Connecticut Sun's top-rated defense took a hit as they were thumped by the Las Vegas Aces 85-74 in Sin City. That was the most points the Sun allowed in a game all season, with Vegas shooting 47.7% from the field.
The Sun also couldn’t generate enough buckets to keep up, with Connecticut being held to 75 points or less for just the fifth time all season.

It was another rough outing for veteran Sun forward Dewanna Bonner, who scored just six points in 31 minutes against the Aces. That’s the second time she’s posted single digits in three games after dropping eight in a loss to the Dallas Wings.
