Pirates ML -130

Mets ML -125

No write up today other than Syndergaard is pitching for the Mets which is a good thing. Also, the Reds are hitting well which is good for the Pirates. Sorry about the short write up but my real job is busy today.

Indians ML -180

Dodgers RL +105

Phillies ML -135

Twins ML -150

White Sox/Indians: The White Sox traditionally haven't fared well against Kluber, whose 13 career wins versus Chicago are his most against any opponent.

Giants/Dodgers:  The Dodger bats are starting to warm up and Stripling is a solid pitcher.  Holland should get knocked around a bit today by the boys in blue.  He gave up 3 runs in 4 innings against the Padres in his first start this year.

Phillies/Nationals:  When the Phillies get to the Nats bullpen, they will put this game away.

Twins/Royals:  The Twins are the team I'm following this season and Bailey pitched nothing but trash last year.  Nelson Cruz has a home run this game for sure.

Twins and Brew Crew were money.  Verlander was a complete dud though.  Rangers are a bit surprising so far for me.  I live near Dallas and I'm a Rangers fan.  But even my friends and myself are shocked about these W's they keep posting.

Tuesday Plays:

Brewers ML -120  

Astros RL -135

Twins ML-140

Brewers/Reds: Chacin is an absolutely monster on the mound for the Brew and Yelich is firmly defending his MVP title.  DeSclafini last year was 1-1 vs. the Brewers with a 6.00 ERA in 3 starts.  I have Brewers winning 5-2.

Astros/Rangers:  The ageless Verlander looked great on opening day despite giving up a HR to the first batter of the season.  He went 7 innings and only allowed 3 hits while striking out 9 and walking 1.  Rangers are rolling out Shelby Miller, their 3rd consectutive starter who wasn't even with the club last season.  Miller is coming off a horrendous year in which he went 0-4 with a 10.69 ERA.  I have the Astros winning 6-1.

Twins/Royals:  With both Berrios and Keller having great opening day starts and both teams playing decently on offense, I'm leaning Twins based on: 1) They're my sleeper team for the season and I have to keep rolling with them. And 2)  The Twins played the defending AL Central champs their first series and came out on top.  The Royals, however, played against the White Sox...who aren't even the best team in their city.  I have the Twins squeaking by 2-1.
