Question

Wow got to give Khan credit. Really avoiding no one. What a tough fight to call. I think Amir has some dodgy early moments and eventually wins a decision late. Tough fight to call though..

Not a tough fight to call at all. How do you reckon Zab wins this fight throwing 15 punches a round, which is what he does now?

Khan is too young, too fast (even for Zab) and his workrate is too high. All Khan has to do is box conservatively early and Zab will be on fumes come Rd 5-6. He is the Jean Pascal of the 140 lb division.

I figure this line will be in the -450 to -500 range.

Rzagza I agree Judah has stamina problems late on. BUT I think for 5-6 rounds he will give Khan all he can handle. Zab can crack and he has speed..I agree with the line. I think -400 to -500

I think Judah has a legit chance.  His low punch totals have more to do w/ Whitaker being in his corner focusing on defense than any stamina issue.  His last fight he took his time and knocked out Mabuza in the 7th.  Amir Khans defense has been questionable amd I could see a focused Judah being able to expliot his chin.  Not saying I see him winning, but I think his chances shouldn&#x27;t be dismissed.  I take him with the right odds...

Khan has opened -600 and Judah &#x2B;400. I have to take Judah at that price. I realise Zab can&#x27;t win on points here, but that is way too high a price with a guy with speed who can bang and I still ain&#x27;t convinced of Khan&#x27;s chin. Khan should win, but the at those odds there is no point in betting him. I will take a small shot at Zab.

eh this is a mismatch. Khan should dominate and Judah will have some interesting moments...only shot judah has is the first 4 rounds. I doubt he pulls it off and I&#x27;m a fan of Judahs

I&#x27;m a big fan of both of these guys, and watching some of Khans fights i can tell that he does look somewhat off balance at times, and his chin is still a concern,at these odds i gotta take Judah he&#x27;s more experienced has the poise, power and chin to take this fight.

I posted on another thread that Zab has always fought only to the caliber of each opponent. He finally came out of a rut by KO&#x27;ing Spinks in their rematch (nice for me). Zab is maybe one of the few fighters that can suprise Khan with his speed (and also carries more of a punch) but I feel he doesn&#x27;t carry the stamina though to finish of a fast slick Khan. Zab is only 33 but it&#x27;s a rough 33, not over-the-hill, but borderline. Remember the losses he had were tough (even some wins) and he lost against top fighters. Kostya Tszyu (bad stoppage), Mayweather, Clottey, Cotto (TKOd) as well as a tough Baldomir and a letdown versus Spinks. One thing he has going is a 5 fight win streak which is the longest since he was undefeated. Hard to see him winning, but he does have the abilities, or had them and with such huge odds, maybe even a prop to increase those odds significantly. Zab has been known to catch all the best fighters at least once in a fight, even Mayweather but he lacks the follow-up even if it&#x27;s a flash he needs to really press the issue and change the tide enough to cause hesitation in his opponent.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Zab is a good fighter but who has he really beat over the years, everytime he fight a great fighter he loses (not saying Khan is great but he could be with Freddie Roach in his corner). The last Zab fight I watched I remember him struggling with Clottey, so I wouldn't waste any money betting on him, it is probably a last big payday (just like Mosley-Pacman).

Exactly, Zab never rises to the top come showtime. I said the same about Oscar (but Oscar fought everyone of much caliber, and gave it his all). I see a lazy Zab throughout his career. Actually Freddie had Amir sparring with Manny in hopes of a Mayweather fight. Then soon after they realized it wasn&#x27;t happening and both went backk to business.

I have been back and forth with this one. People say Judah has a weak chin but he has only been KO'd twice. I could be wrong but besides Dmitry Salida (cant remember his name) I don't believe Khan has KO'd anyone at 140. I think this one will go to points but I have this feeling this could be a quick KO.

No strong feeling here, just a hunch. Staying away from Chisora and Fury..That looks a mess. Small play on Fury KO in the 9th round cause I had a dream about that last night. But then again I dreamt Mosley KO'd Paquaio in the 8th lol

just layed $100 on Khan. not much in return something like $19.20. I really didnt want to have so much juice but there was no choice. I have lost too many times by trying to pick how the fighter wins and lose the bet even though I have picked the correct fighter.

Zouk&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Your kidding about the Tszyu fight being a bad stoppage, right?  If I remember correctly, after Tszyu knocked him down, he tried to get back up and a flopped right back down on his face.  Heck, the most fight Judah had in him that night was going after the referee for stopping the fight.  Another case of Judah thinking he got ripped off after getting his ass kicked.

wickedj: Unlike many younger posters I never watched the replay and could be mistaken regarding the stoppage. I was using memory from a decade ago. I will watch it again on youtube or elsewhere then re-state my opinion. I watch a lot of fights and many replays of fights that I enjoyed (classics) or fights I&#x27;m going to wager significant amounts on. Khan is a fighter I&#x27;ve only bet once over Maidana, and Zab I did on his rematch against Spinks. He has been so inconsistent even though he is athletically gifted I don&#x27;t wager on inconsistency. I thought Zab got tricky, got caught and dropped, then was wobbled on his feet then the attack on the ref was bigger drama then the event itself.

I just watched the replay clip (and very funny from youtube and it had Judah saying in the hood win, lose or draw we don&#x27;t cry) and he was floored and as I remember. The part that had me confused was the ref never gave him a count and Judah hit the deck and the ref called it. I see so often fighters get hit and early on allowed to continue given the benefit of the doubt. So before Judah got up a second time the ref called it without a count as a judgement and I&#x27;m used to seeing refs hesitant to call a big fight as this was at the time (I think Judah was nearly a 3-1 favorite).
