Is DLH bigger?  Yes.  Has he been fighting at 147 or higher for longer?  Yes.  Is he naturally bigger?  Not really.  DLH started at 133 PBF at 131.  I agree that DLH's shoulders allowed for a better adjustment to the weight, but I am not sure he has all that much more power than PBF at that weight.  Sure, he knocked out Mayorga, who stood right in front of him.  He also got tagged in the second round of that fight where I was worried, for a second, about the $13K I risked.
 
Look at DLH's recent fights...struggeld with Vargas.  "Lost" to Mosely.  "Won" over Sturm in very, very close fight. Got killed by Hopkins.  Then, beat human punching bag Mayorga, who was pretty shot.  Never imressive in any of these fights.
 
PBF destroyed his last three opponents Sharmba Mitchell, Judah and Baldomir.  The win over Baldomir showed me just how good he really is.  Never got hit, really.  He will not stand right in front of DLH like Mayorga did.  DLH will have to find him, and close...not his specialty.
 
DLH will have to fight moving forward, chasing PBF.  I cannot remember the last time he had to move that much.  Mosely did not make him work the way PBF will.
 
Now, DLH can win, for sure.  But, he will have to catch PBF early.  Also, don't forget the X-factor.  Who is PBF's trainer?  That's right, DLH's former trainer.  Remember what Goosen was able to do in the same situation with Corrales over Casamayor?  Remember what John Gurden did to the Raiders?
 
Floyd has a huge advantage in his corner.  He will win easily IMO.
 
 
 
Always respect your Boxing opinion but....  Mitchel, Judah and a fat Baldomir isn't the stuff of legends.  Oscar is ripped and ready,  bigger and stronger.  I see PBF trying to fight the same way he did against Baldi,  but it won't work.  Oscar;s no dummy.  He'll hit hard and early then wait for PBF to HAVE to come to him.
 
Your take on Oscars last few fights is accurate but.... He's fought everybody;  and every style and I just don't see any mental edge going to PBF.  PBF will have to beat his ass to win the fight and I'm betting he won't.  BOL

DLH on all props ... He is ready for the fight . He has been training the past four months in Puerto Rico..and is not a favorite in this fight which means the spotlight is not on him for the first time and he can concentrate more on boxing..

He had an 8 week camp in Puerto Rico.

I just can't see either guy knocking the other one out.  I hope the fight is exciting, but I am pretty certain 9 rounds will be the hokie pokie and 3 rounds will have some serious action.  So, I will take the jab of PBF and the tactics of DLH to send this to the scorecards.

Pretty Boy Floyd by decision..  In my opinion, too much hand speed and never seems to fatigue.  He gets stronger goin into to the later rounds.  I'll take Floyd in a lopsided decision putting on a boxing exhibiton similar to the one he gave Tata Baldomir.  Good luck on all your plays fellas. Cant wait to see some posts after the fight to see what everyone thought.

Have fun man, I am interested to hear how the numbers shake out come fight time there.  Let's just hope we get a decent scrap tomorrow night and not a stink fest.

Floyd Mayweather Jr by Decision - $100 to win $105

Don't see either fighter having the power to get a KO and likely won't take major risks going for it.
A knockout loss to either one will ruin their legacy, particularly DLH who is likely close to retirement.
This will be a boxing battle of speed and defense, both skills Floyd is way better in than the aging DLH.
Floyd and his camp despite all the trashtalk about knocking people out have always played it safe.
His last fights with Judah and Baldomir is an indication on how the fight with DLH will turn out.

My Man =====We must have been watching different fights. I thought DeLaHoya Destroyed Vargas. Agreed He stunk out the joint against Strum and got a lucky gift decision. He was not focused for that fight so I take that fight with a grain of salt. Isn't Mayorga the same guy who kicked the shit of of very highly rated Vernon Forest TWICE?? Oscar made him look like a rank amateur. As for him not being the clearly Bigger Man. Don't listen to Teddy Atlas who is just talking for sake of having to say something on TV. Oscar is BY FAR the Legitimately Bigger Man who has fought World Class Middle Weights. Has anyone heard the name Bernard Hopkins? And by the way I thought DeLaHoya was doing very well in the Hopkins fight until he got caught with that devastating body shot. I will be very surprised if Floyd hangs in for the full 12 rounds.

Well, I am a boxing analyst and I dont speak english, so I am sorry if you dont understand me.... but let me tell you how I see this fight...first I am going to tell you the good things and bad things of each fighter and then who could win and why and then the line value on this fight...
 
PBF --> Very quick, fast hands and average legs but he uses with such intelligence that it looks like he has very good legs...In and Out in the ring is his best thing and increase all his qualities....very very good defense based on speed In and Out just like I said...he has avergae punch but with the speed of his hands that almost doesnt count...never been tested so does this really makes a difference?? bad things --> I just see a few bad things about him because he has never been tested, one of them is that if he cant go In and Out he gets frustrated and he tries to get out of this kind of fight using his speed overvaluing his speed and the defense goes to 2nd part after he stays again in his fight, this doesnt mean he doesnt know how to defend I am just saying that he overvalue his speed to get out of this kind of fight and thry to get along with his usual style...another thing is that his intellingence get very decrease when he cant make his fight(in and out) just like I say, his plan of fight almost goes down for a few seconds when this happens, just like I say...
 
DLH--> He has very fast fands, very good In and Out only when he uses his jab, really good jab which can neutralize almost every fighter who has less reach than he does, very good left hook, really intelligent, when he realize that he connected the hook he goes all for it, average right hand, very good face puch fake and then go to the body...bad things -->he just dont know how to defend when somebody is really going all for it, I mean he just throw punches trying to comeback with some big hook, he doesnt go very good backwards, he try to visualize every aspect of the fight that is coming and when there is something he did not visualize he gets nervous and try to get away with "not intelligent" punches...
 
Who should I pick?? --> First of all let me tell you that I would never gamble in such a close fight capping like a picking winner, but capping like a value line gambler I just would pick DLH, for me the line of this fight should be PBF -105 and DLH +115, in stadistics I would pick PBF but let me tell you why I woul pick DLH, first of all I take care who could be in troubles, dont taking care of who is winning the fight, I do think DLH has an advantage in the weight and punch, I do know that both of them started in almost the same class but because of the age DLH´s body has increased to another weight in which PBF is not, DLH might be weighting 157-160 pounds at the time of the fight which is an advantage and his hand speed will not be decreased, his hand speed is decreased because of the age along time ago, for this fight, i think PBF fast hands will be decrease not in one or two punch combination, I mean he will not be able to throw a big  combination as he used to and if it is gonna be difficult for him do damage DLH with a big fast combination as he used to be, it is gonna be more difficult to connect an slower combination, if DLH sees this weaknees which I think he will see, DLH will be able to get in to the "close" fight more than PBF would like to and if DLH connect a big hook which I think he will connect PBF will be in seriuos problems, I can see the other kind of fight, thats why I wouldnt gamble, in which PBF goes In and Out and frustating DLH, but after a few rounds that DLH sees his weakness the fight wills start to change of command, PBF definitely cant KO DLH so thats is why I think DLH will have the time to go back in the fight and win by decision or KO...in late rounds...
 
So if I would bet in this one I would go for "following the money" on DLH, I think DLH wins the 1rst round and PBF wins the 2nd, 3rd,4th,5th and after that DLH starts to make his fight and frustrate PBF who has not been challenged in this kind of fight, so I can see a DLH winning by KO in the 11th round or winning by decision...

My dear friend, thank you for pledging your assistance, however, these bets were not put in at once, overtime as odds changed and continued to throughout the 5 months I've been following the lines I added were I saw fit for the most favorable lines available at the time. What I posted above is what I ended up accumulating in total for the fight, not bets that I put in at a single moment. Of course in a perfect world where lines never change my bets would have been different and if I had made them at the same time, they probably would've been different as well. In any case, thanks for concerning yourself w/my cash

Now simply waiting for the Mexicans and the "pretty" people of Hollywood to drive the price down on PBF.
 
Looking for  - 160 or better.......but will probably settle w/ -170 on Pretty Boy
 
Best no risk investment I've ever made.......... Thank You HBO!!!!!!!!!........... I'll just be watching the fight w/ a smile on my face...of course, rooting for the "Golden Boy"

Vargas was ahead on one scorecard at the time of the stoppage and only behind by a point or two on the others.  Yes, Mayorga beat Forrest twice.  Now, the first was a quick KO.  The second fight was very, very close once Forrest overcame his fear of fighting a guy that just KO'd him.  In fact, Forrest dominated the late rounds, hurt Mayorga a few times and almost squeaked out that decision.  But, by the time DLH got him, he was a pretty shot fighter.  Rape trial, brutal KO by Trinidad.  Apples and oranges my man.
 
As for the Teddy Atlas comment, I haven't listened to a word about this fight, except for here.  I stopped listening to the so-called experts a long-time ago, realizing there are people here with the same amount of knowledge, and more dedicated to capping and winning money.  Take yourself, for example.  I always look for your posts.  But, I think you are dead wrong about this fight...dead wrong.
 
Good luck and, you know me, I won't pull an "I told you so" if i cash and you burn.  And I will be the first to eat crow if I am wrong.

He would get his money back from a draw, so not really much of a reason to play it.  The only way a draw would nix both wagers is if he played each fighter by an outcome prop.

are you sure about this?    Last year I took Jermaine Taylor over Winky Wright, and after it was declared a draw my bet was counted as a loss.
