BigPapa21: THANK THE LORD. Someone is actually of age 18 (and) or knows the most commons... things, sentencing guidelines. You can dispute any opinion I have, but guidelines are given to the judge and followed 99%, or else they can appeal and the judge must prove provocation! HE HATES FLOYD SO LET"S JUST HANG HIM!!!!

Goldfisch: I'd agree,one issue. Fighters that have the primary goal of being considered not only the best, but best of all time, will fight as many of the best contenders at anytime. Although I know the old timers has not many choices (but had to make a living as well) had to fight when told.
Besides most his fights going unrecorded, Robinson dominated a very talented Welterweight division with dominance. This example below shows what great fighters are willing to do and can do, and that is why they are the best!
"Robinson in Febreaury 5th, 1943 weighed 144lbs, losing 10 round decision to the much bigger LaMotta (161lbs). Two weeks later on the 19th, Robinson defeated Jackie Wilson. One week later on the 26th, he re-matched and defeated LaMotta at the same weight he lost to him just three weeks prior (winning by a total of 19 of 30 rounds). Notice the need I didn't have to change the years, yet alone the month! This type of constant and consistent dominance continued throughout his entire career. Understandably times were different and many fighters fought that often, but none did it the was Sugar did. Also, for those unaware Robinson was the first fighter that they made the name entourage after him as he was high profile, big spender, the greatest negotiator... but fighting was his #1. A big downfall was the fight in which he killed an opponent and psychologically he never recovered (via his friends, family and team... and his own statements regarding it).

pbf is probably going to do less than 45 with good behavior and overcrowding/work furlough and he is going to get tons of special priveleges with the guards in return for future ticket, favors, etc.

 

 I'd say its less then 10%. The judge really don't want to delay the courts anymore then he has to. Its a money thing. They will come into the courtroom and say lets get it done today and hate any delays. Most guards make a living there at the job. I don't think they will risk their family income for some tickets. Its a job to them. They hear every kind of bullshit on the planet. See alot also. He will do his time and get out. Its not hard time but its not freedom either.
