I am at the gym every day from 2 until 10, except saturdays which is my day off and only 2 hours on sunday? I am a harder worker if your being logical, but obviously you are not, and vegas puts the guy who is better at that moment as the favorite, you are the one crying about me getting personal, when it was you who started it, I am not whining just letting you know that you are a fool, that does not really know what the hell that they are talking about, I would stay and have this battle of whits with you but it is clear that you are unarmed, oh one more thing, you mentioned a rookie bettor, I have been winning at over 68 percent in college football since 2004, and over 75 in totals so shut the fuck up and please stop throwing rocks at the throne, you washed up has been.
Bert sugar believes Floyd would win but he thinks it would be Floyd’s
toughest fight of his career because he also thinks Pacquiao is the
greatest southpaw of all time also. Lee Wylie thinks Pacquiao's high
volume and aggressive nature does not bode well for a defensive minded
keep duckin may. On average, Floyd probably throws around 400 punches a
fight. Manny Pacquiao throws around the 800 mark. That’s a 2 to 1 ratio.
Damning numbers in a fight that could be the subject of judgement in
the end.
Manny Pacquiao, in the eyes of many, is the best offensive fighter in
boxing. Pacquiao's best weapon is his ability to feint, then, using
superb footwork, change the direction of his attack at the last second,
then explode in with his combinations. His "in and out" style of boxing
is the reason Pacquiao opponents all share the same notion, that
Pacquiao throws his punches from such strange angles.
The truth is, Pacquiao only ever throws straight punches, but it's
because of the feints that freeze his opponents, and his footwork, that
enables him to snake around his opponent's guard which allows him to
land the combinations that they don't see coming. Floyd Mayweather has
fought southpaws before, but Pacquiao is very different. Pacquiao is
unconventional with his movement.
Pacquiao likes to drift to his left which can be very confusing for an
orthodox fighter, as the power left hand is now coming at a very central
angle. If we look at Mayweather's defensive shell and imagine he is
fighting an orthodox fighter, his right hand is protecting his chin and
parrying his opponents' jab. Floyd's left shoulder is also protecting
his chin and deflecting right hand power shots coming from the outside.
Pacquiao's southpaw stance and unconventional movement appears to trump
Mayweather's defense. Moving inside Mayweather's guard, Pacquiao's left
hand would now be traveling INSIDE of Floyd's left shoulder, instead of
AROUND.
Compubox favours Pacquiao, not Mayweather. Look at the fighters who
Floyd has been thought to have ducked. Paul Williams and Antonio
Margarito, Margarito was actually considered a threat at one time and
now Pacquiao. The commonality between those fighters and Pacquiao?
Volume.
The betting public sides with Floyd, which is why the line is set with
Floyd as the chalk favorite. The betting public's perception can be as
important as the actual comparison of the two teams or people.
Oddsmakers don't try to predict the outcome of the game when setting
lines.
If a team or person is favored, that doesn't mean that the oddsmaker
necessarily thinks it will win. The Oddsmaker's goal when setting the
line is to keep an equal number of bets on both sides. Oddsmakers try to
keep the action even on both sides.
A bookie's worst fear is being "sided." This happens when many bets come
in on one side. If that side turns out to be the winning side, the
bookie will lose a lot of money. Ideally, half the bettors lose, and
their money goes to pay off the other half, who won, with the bookie
taking the vig.
A sharp/wiseguy would know this shit already, you whiny pigeon amateur-square.
