Z won as well. I did not see a JR'esq amount of hugging from Z. That's a little unfair to any1 n0t named JR. I viewed that as Z was smoothering the only part of Cruz's game that might have gotten him in trouble. Tatically fun to watch? Nah. Correct start' to employ in a do what it takes to win manner of thought? Yup. Z is fast, but not that fast, if you know what I mean. (i.e. does not have the Voltage he needs to be truly tip-top on his Speed alone)

Who you gots??? GJohnson vs. MGriff headling WNF's. Both Old, neither one can afford an L right now. Johnson's volume punching vs. Griff's sharp counter-punching shoulder rolling routine??? Undercard looks pretty clear-cut, J^2.
FNF's: Cruz vs. Raheem? (I have a lean here) George vs. Hall? (still n0t sure on this one???, some help please?)
HBO: EMiranda vs. Pavlik? Taylor vs. Cory Spinks?
Big Deutchland card as well. Looks like it's time to clap some erasers to me.

Hey gang,
Good night of HBO boxing tonight! On the undercard we have Miranda and Pavlik in what could be a slugfest. Both fighters can be hit and hurt, and both have great power. This could end up being a case of who lands big first. In a close fight like this one, I will always take the plus money.
We also have Spinks/Taylor in the main event. I am not a fan of Spinks and don’t like his style one bit. His chin is suspect and he tends to fade late in fights. I was not impressed at all with his over the limit weigh-in and heard rumors he was super heavy coming into camp. I know he will try to hold his way to the final bell, but hopefully JT finally puts some serious hurt on a smaller opponent and gets Spinks out of there mid rounds.
Boxeo Bets: Pavlik +170
Under 9 full Pavlik/Miranda -130
Under 11 full Spinks/Taylor -150

Kobori takes care of my Rising Sun business. YK can crack; though I'm unsold if that makes him World-Class or not? B/c he has not stepped up that well. But that much Power does give him some legit threat power.

I only have JT in a buncha Parlays, SU. JT is a highly mercurial fighter, given his rather impressive Talent level. Take at look at these vitals to see what I mean. JT has n0t stopped any1 in 26 Months. But b4 that he nearly had an 80% stoppage percentage. Now take an even closer look, JT has 17 stoppages, all via TKO. Not a single straight up KO on his unified MiddleWeight Champion resume`! I don't have any idea why no1 talks that up?!? That's extremely conspicious to me.
So JT is very very good, but the truth is he's prolly not quite 100% great. Meaning I like him to get uspet as a fav', somewhere down the road. But not 2nite. Legacy Spinks, who has never had any real Voltage, even 2 weight classes below where he will step in 2nite, is climbing too high in Weight; & of all the oddA things, he was overWeight for it?!? Then thrown in how EM got under JT skin at the Pressor. One of the things about JT is he goes about things theper se right way. He says "Sir", he minds his P&Q's, he dresses like a Pro. So it was quite odd to see him meltdown in responce to EM. That might, could, possibly, suggest that JT trys to make a statement vs. little Spinks. Otherwise, I was quite sure that JT would just hunt & peck his way to a safe & legit Decision, behind his stiff Left-Jab, & just enough hard Rights to make said Decision legit.
"Yes", JT can stop CS. I'd try the fight won't go the distance, b4 I'd try for a JT Stoppage Prop. Under on 10.5 is not too bad, but it's not as safe as the Good big man (JT), vs. the good little man (CS), idiom suggests. As JT (mostly) does not have an overly aggressive inRing temperment. EM may have changed that, but recent history & the lateral quicks of CS could spoil that. JT is the safest bet, much safer than any outcome Prop.

Got a lot riding on Taylor already in the parlay and the early 5dimes number hit on him, but I see the stoppage coming tonight and I am pulling the trigger. Spinks's inactivity paired with the rise in weight and the fact he was on the brink of giving out against Roman last summer at 154 bode well for an early night tonight.
2.8 units on Taylor Inside the Distance (-140)
Laying off a side in Pavlik-Miranda and just sticking with the under. I was hoping Miranda money would come in today and push Pavlik up to +175, but that didn't happen. Think it should be a brawl, but the chin question surrounding both has kept me off a side.

Looks like I am done for the week unless the odds on Pavlik rise some. Saturday will tell whether Miranda is Lacy'esque, if he wins then I will jump on board the Edison train. Until then I see a lot of flaws and chin issues, but maybe power can overcome those.
Can you say Lacy 2.0? Skills; not muscles and wild power wins fights. Should have stuck with my gut and gone with Pavlik by KO also.

Fight scored as even going into the 7th. Taylor seems to be gaining the advantage by landing some bigger punches.
re Fullbrights question, it was punch to the eye. lol
Lol, was saying how do you have Spinks ahead, surprised that you interpreted it that way. All he has landed are pitty pat jabs. I have Taylor up by 2 rounds after 7. Taylor should just walk him down, it's not like Spinks can hurt him.

Why Taylor is giving this guy any respect is beyond me. He should just walk him down, Spinks can't crack an egg. Dibella is yelling at Taylor for a reason, he is fighting like an idiot.

I agree with that, but I have (had) Spiks landing more punches.
Taylor up now with the power punches and getting that jab to land. Spinks needs to get a 2nd and 3rd wind and box like he did in the 1st 3 rounds to pull this upset off
