Just kidding, I was out riding my KLR visiting my Catholic brother talking real deep shit so I had to miss the game.  I am privileged that my CFL betting family were chit chatting on my thread.  Thank you.  I think dialogue is good but this coming from the guy who thinks beer comes from heaven... lol.

Not sure about Toronto game but I am leaning with what Chef has been saying and eyeing BC.  No pick yet.

I think under 47.5 is the best bet right now.  Cameron Dukes is not Chad Kelly and he didn't look great in preseason.  I think he will struggle to get the ball downfield against a good BC defense.  On the other side, I expect BC to rely more on the run game as they lost Whitehead and Rhymes in the off-season and Keon Hatcher is questionable with an injury.  

Thinking a low scoring affair.  

How much of an effect the whole Chad Kelly saga have on the Argos?  Another thing to ponder.  I'd tease BC and under but I hate teasing through 0

Good questions Ice, and our personal Chef has been on top of the situation with Toronto so I totally defer and will probably defer to what he thinks.  Unless, I have some epiphany or something happens before kick off. 

It is always my sense that when someone puts negatives on a team, the team suffers.  It's life.  It is a major influence on the outcome which is why I most likely will be going against the Argos.  Not very statistical or very good capping but sometimes the KISS moto works.

You know what I like about Chef?  He listens to CFL podcasts, reads, and watches.  But the best part is that he shares his insights.  He might be down early but I believe in him.  I just wish some of you other guys with the big brains would share more.  I totally love Shushies inputs but wish he would join us for the games.  Aslo love that stats guy (what was his name), I wish he was back.

Anyways, I hope we all prosper from being united and letting go of egos.  All info, insights, and even gut feelings is better served shared.  Again, thanks Chef for keeping this CFL forum relevant by speaking when brothers stay silent.  I even miss that stupid Stampeder fan when they were winning but fell off the map when they were losing.  A fair weather guy.  I hated him but still love his present.  Where is that guy?

Too bad about Edmonton not looking good. Feel like Canucks were their toughest test in playoffs. Dallas whiffed and made them look invincible. Panther will be much tougher test. Three Oiler pp sp far and nothing. 

Oilers lose and I feel like a smuck cruising around in my Gretzky jersey all day.  Skinner is too inexperienced and it shows.  He is the weak link.  Hopefully, the Oilers rebound.  I am doubling up my bets till the Oilers win a game.  But then again, I think I mentioned how I am not all that bright. 

Vancouver played great.  Either team could have won.  Problem was, the winner would eventually have to face the Panthers.  At least it is a Red state team and not a blue state.

Before mass today, I was so sure that BC was the play since there appears to be a cloud over the Toronto team.  -5.5 for BC seemed like a lot but not really in the CFL.  I just had a bad feeling which might be due to waking up hoping the Oilers game last night was just a bad dream but it wasn't.  My gut said not to take BC and take Toronto....  so I did.... then off I went to pay homage to the Great one  (and I don't mean Gretzky).

When I got home, I kind of wished I didn't place the bet so quick based on emotional impulse.  I should have did some actually capping homework. 

I looked at Chef's thread for any info being shared and he said the line dropped to -3.5 for BC so I feel a little better now (better than the bug I just heard being zapped in my zapper).  I could spend this beautiful day capping and hedge if so inclined but think I will just let it ride now.  I have some Kale that has been waiting for some time for me to put in the ground.  

I wonder if Ole Chef has anymore insights on the game in his thread, I think I will go check and say hi then go do some planting....

Be careful with Edmonton money. I'd be surprised if they won more than  one game in this series. They just don't have the defense to compete. Florida put a load of hits on them yesterday too so buyer beware on Edmonton.

You are absolutely correct about Edmonton's defence.  Nurse was horrible.  You didn't mention Skinner though so I will.  Skinner stinks!!!  He could develop into a good goalie but the Oilers don't need or have the time for a "developing goalie".  I don't recall the exact number last night but the guy let in 2 goals on 7 or 8 shots.  AGAIN!! WTF???  You said defence which I concur but man, they always seem to have a problem with goalies.  But, maybe the goalie issue has a lot to do with their defensive play.  On a brighter note.  I do love Bouchard.  We have a good core and it seems like such a waste to lose after waiting for soooo long to win the cup.  Kind of like Toronto....  lol.

As far as the caution....  NOTED.  Sometimes a person gets too emotional with his team that they do not think clearly.  Of course I will bet on the Oilers but only small bets since I agree that they might be overmatched and to be honest, I can't afford to lose tons of money due to emotions.  Cheers.

I don't know who to play vs. the spread tonight.  Therefore, I am taking a small parlay and since it isn't a classic CFL pick, I am not counting it since parlays are usually losers.  I got Winnipeg ML + Coilers ML for a 2.25 odds payout.
