I'm on Orgeon -1 tonite out west. I like the home court advantage for Oregon in this one. Any thoughts?

The Ducks have a major edge since this game is being played in Eugene and that should also give them an edge in officiating since they get to pick who they want. The Dukes will be making their second straight trip to out west and that will eventually catch up with them and it will be tonight. Expect an up and down game on Monday but the Ducks have some talent and it is important to play well under first year Coach Dana Altman. Duquesne has covered just 1 of their last 7 games overall.

So tell me why the line is 1?!?   I have to believe Duq wins this game.   You hit it, its in Eugene and are suposed to have better players, and Duq is on the road again.   Some teams are better road teams, just a thought.  I'd fade Oregon here line is way to low if you believe what you've said.

Guys, here is the deal. Oregon is not a good home team, outscoring opp by only 2pts per game, 3 pts worse than the average home team. Meanwhile Duq is a superior road team, actually outscoring opp by 5 on the road (10 pts better than avg road team). Duq also loves to run, so no worries there. Yes, Oregon has faced better competition but not enough to compensate for the disparate home/road profiles evident. My fair line is Duq by 1. So close call anyhow. I prefer the OVER 149, as I project 152-156 points.gl.

Just wanted to make one more point here to.  If you love spreads like I do.  This is a situation that looks much like the BYU line a few days ago.  Everyone, included this idiot <---- thought Zags.  The line made it to easy.  We were wrong.... this looks the case now.

This is a tough game to bet on!

ALL DEPENDS on what WINS over the other IF Oregon hits their 3's! OR if Duquesne gets STEALS....since they are a great turnover defensive team!

Duquesne plays at a much hotter pace than Oregon. They will run and they will gun and the Ducks will be forced to run with them. That mixed with the fact that Duquesne causes a turnover on over 28% of their defensive possessions, means that Oregon will see quite a bit more shots faced than shots taken. Not to mention Duquense has an EFG % of 52 compared to Oregons 47.4%. More looks and a better shooting team? Signs are pointing to the road team in this one.

just FYI Dukes did not go home after game with MOntana
they stayed out west
needed a waiver but they did get it granted

NOt sure if that matters but i thought i would share

I have read everyones comments and although some are on the Dukes and some are on the Ducks, we all seem to agree on one thing.....OVER 149.5 (except for eastcoastplayer)

 - both team seem to run it up and down the court with ease, Duquense has stayed out west, so i dont think travel will be a problem that would mess wit their offense, both teams average in the 70's with their home/away splits, etc...

thoughts on the Over/under???

I actually would look for this to stay just below 149.5  Im thinking 146 or so. The turnovers will slow the scoring up a bit as I see 30+ TO's tonight

Duquesne just jumped from +1 to -1 @ about 70% of the offshore sportsbooks and to -1 or PK @ about 60% of Vegas.
