Here it is folks and I'm not to happy about it. However, there's always a bright side to the dark side.
NCAA Tournament record: 39-33 (-96 units.)
The main reason we are -96 units in this tournament is my Achilles' heel > Teasers. Many have told me to stay away from them and I have been reluctant to listen to their wisdom. Sometimes Wizerguy is not that wise at all, regardless of the hoot and hollering on here of what a great capper I am. Well, imo.. Im really not a great capper. Im just an average guy trying to learn something with this thing we call sportswagering. Out of I believe 8 teasers that I have played during the tournament alone. I went 3-5 and lost just around 106 units with them, which drastically hurt my tournaments bottom line. Take them away, and Im +10 units for the the tourney. I like to tell it the way is... I'm very disappointed in myself.
If you read my opening NCAA Tournament thread posted statement. I never followed through on my projected plan and resorted back to that Cowboy mentality, which is not a good thing. Yeah, we hit the big play 2k on St Peters +14 and the *dime +660 ML on National Peacocks Day. However, as nice as that was, I have many lessons to be learned in this business and I thank God that this is the type of business where history repeats, and you can come back next year , make up for those mistakes and hopefully "learn lessons" My apologies if I disappointed anyone tailing some of the bad plays.
With all this being said, you have to look at situations in life with the glass half full..not half empty. My CBB season was one of the best seasons I have ever had in my 3 years capping college basketball. After being down 73 units in early February just before the SB. I ended the regular season @ 200-181 +5,440. Then went on to go 20-20 ? +241 units in the conference Tournament games, then of course 39- 33 -96 units in the NCAA tournament itself.
Total CBB season YTD: 259-234 (+199.4 units) ...close to 20k..now lets imagine without the teasers in the tournament look-n @ close to 30k.
il take my 79 unit bank with the NFL and my 199 units here ( 27,900) and finally take my Cowboy hat off and hang it up.

CBB YTD: 261-234 (+217.9 units) ( +21,790). Last season after Baylor beat the Zags in the NCG, my year ending total ended @ +122 units (12,200) so I consider this season a total success. Lets see what we can do next CBB season when the teasers are eliminated..Cant Wait !
