Pulled the trigger too fast on thinking UCI covers the Birds. If you haven't heard the news, I just feel the Birds and Rick P will just be too much for these UCI kids. Will be looking into the 1st half play with UCI or Under play....
Now, for this funny looking game. At first glance, I had pegged NC being too big, athletic, and strong for this Ivy League school. Many saw what happened to Harvard vs. Virginia. I remember the day like it was yesterday. I was at South Point in Vegas and took a crack an early CB game in Harvard +10 ( Harvard at the time was ranked in the top 25 and UV was in the top 5. ). I was that numbskull picking the Ivy League school and thought they actually had a chance to upset UV at home.
Well here we are again. Another 10 point dog vs an NC team that I don't beleive was even in the top 25 when UV manhandled Harvard. There is just something funny looking about this game. Why would Vegas put Harvard as a 10 point dog, when NC beat UV?
Someone here a couple days ago had picked Harvard as their upset pick and like many, I was the one shaking my tunnel vision mind and responded to NC as the much superior team.
Something, just something in the back of my gut says that this game will be closer than what most predict. This is one game on my radar that I am strongly considering. The more I think about it, the more something tells me to pick Harvard +10.
So with all that jumbo jumbo, take Harvard +10.
Everyone's thoughts and input is appreciated, especially those that want to bash this Harvard homer.

these games are so tricky. It seems if the lesser team keeps it close, or is winning just a touch. The superior team comes out in the second half and blows their doors off. If the better team is winning by a bunch. They put it on cruise control and rest for the next game. Enabling a back door cover. Good luck on your play

Harvard was better last yr. UNC just has too much offense for them. This line is soaring because everyone else sees the same thing. Opened at 9, now 10.5.

Yes, 11 pts sounds like a lot...but Harvard will have to make 12-15 3's to hang in with this team that has beaten Davidson, UCLA, Louisville, NC State, UVA, and lost in OT at Duke. Don't think Harvard could hang with any of those, including UCLA. It'll seem like playing with weights off for UNC.

Agreed. Take unc. If unc has a 9 point lead with 2 minutes left they cover with free throws. Unc is too quick and they'll be rested and ready to run. I wouldn't over think this.

This is my surprise special as well. Harvard will keep this game close and will easily cover the spread. It's a great play, IMO. The wise guys are on NC, but I'm bucking that trend as well.
I'll officially release it as a play for me later on today, but I just couldn't resist chiming in. I'm with you 100% on this one, and expect no more than a 3-5 point victory.

Only way Harvard covers is if they hit shots and lots of them. Not a really good defensive team being they cant win with their defense from the games I've followed. They were better in previous years but so was the ivy league. I expect Heels to run on them especially if they shooting a crazy a mount of 3s and hit minimal. I like the over more than the side on this one. 74-61
It's all probabilities

do you understand that your gut is failing you? your gut on harvard was wrong in the first game. So the next time the situation arises, your gut tells you the same thing, but, knowing it didnt work out, your gut is telling you to oppose your gut.
whichever side you play, it will not impact how the game turns out. you got 50-50 whichever you pick. but the more you overthink, the more losses you ring up.
So you should fade harvard.
