This Denver team ranks near the bottom in the NCAA at points per game (#262) while SD ranks (#89). When it comes to rebounding Denver is even worse ranking (#351) while S. Dakota ranks (#86). Don't really put too much into these numbers, because it is all relative to the level of competition, but S. Dakota has played a much tougher schedule than Denver, so these numbers do mean something in todays game. I don't think a team that has such trouble scoring and rebounding should be laying double digits to anyone, especially in conference play.
S. Dakota lost at Stanford by 11 and Stanford is far better than Denver. Also, S. Dakota lost in double OT on a very tough Creighton home court, so the do know how to stay in a game on the road.
