Sometimes “moments” in games occur which tell you everything you need to know about the next game.
Last night Texas A&M, in a ONE point game 63-62 Bama, with 4:20 left to 2:00 minutes, A&M turned the ball over....
FIVE straight possessions without getting a shot off.
FIVE!!! NO SHOTS! VERY LATE!
Through all that, Bama only went up by an extra TWO POINTS 65-62 and Texas A&M nailed a three on their sixth possession to tie it. After all those TO’s!
Think about how valuable those five turnovers were to go down the other end of the court 5 times with numbers, and score only two.
Think about how you would have died to have five such possessions in the other games you played late, even down by 10! Not UP 1!
On top of all that, Bama had to win it at the buzzer with a layup.
Now off an emotional win and tired legs they have to come out at 1pm today and play Auburn the #1 seed. Not an imposing #1 seed but the 1 seed nonetheless.
That is not a good spot for Avery Johnson and his team. That is not a team I can support ATS, even at this number!
Those moments last night shaped this play.
I’ll lay the points:
Auburn -6.5 over Bama

Auburn is missing so many good players to either injury or suspension, at some point it's bound to catch up with them. Especially in the front court. Love their three headed monster in Brown, Harper, and Herron though.
Don’t let the last play affect the next play

GL scal, but I have to think a win a like this will galvanize Bama and allow them to play with "house money" today. Lunardi believes they are IN after that win so you could also have a let down angle here too. Me personally, I'm taking the points. GL

I’m glad you think a team that shows it’s flaws in a tournament game is irrelevant. Everything else is relevant like, all the metrics from game 1 through 20. But the liver spots you observed last night is irrelevant.
BigD house $ is true but you always have the rivalry (Bama Auburn always means soemthing) to counter that.
VS, thank you for the vote of confidence. Don’t have kids. They’ll end up heroine addicts with a father with your attitude.

St Joe’s lost on not one but two heartbreaking buzzer beaters to GM. I cannot lay 6.5 in what were two tight games. But I can take the ML for a team with triple buzzer beater revenge.
