This Wisky team was the "great hope" for the Big Ten too!!!!!!
 
Just terminate this fucking shit event now and save network t.v. the embarassment.  Show barrell racing or reruns of World's Strongest man.  This event sucks.
 
ESPN needs to wake the fuck up and match my conference up with some real men.

I hope your Maryland team doesn't get homered like this at Duke. I know it has nothing to do with this game because duke is making shots but this is one of the reasons i can't stand watching the blue devils.

I will agree with one thing you said...they do get alot of calls at Comcast South, I mean cameron. 
 
But that isn't why Whiskey Dick is getting spanked like a two year old right off Interstate 40 right now.

ACC is a basketball conference....Big Ten is a football conference....wonder what the breakdown of these match-ups would be if we were playing football?     Only difference is the Big Ten actually competes for the title each year....when is the last time an ACC team competed for a title in football?

FSU and Miami are living in the past... They haven't been serious contenders in the past 3 years. Miami and FSU have fallen so far is hilarious to even remember how dominating they were the past decade. VaTech is always in the thick of things but they usually don't have a good enough team to get to the top.

Yeah, the Big 10 sucks in Nov.  But, they seem to do pretty good in a little 3 game tournament in March.  It's called THE FINAL FOUR.

Jpero... I know you know a lot more about college bball than college football but just FYI florida state has made a bowl game every year including this one for the past 26 years... there most recent bowls being emarald bowl, orange bowl, gator bowl, orange bowl, sugar bowl, gator bowl, orange bowl, national championship... That is 5 BCS bowl games in the last 8 years.  Dont quite see how that is a HUGEEEE drop off

FSU and Miami were national title contenders year in and out in the past... Bowl games dont mean what they use to and unless you are in one of the top 3 bowl games and capture a conference title it is considered a failed season to the schools of Miami and FSU based on their past success and domination...

I guess they have gotten use to it and are happy with their subpar seasons .

Yeah but you called it a "hilarious to look back" and consider they have done better than 99% of the teams over the past 8 years... I wouldn't call it hilarious.  That is like saying it is hilarious to look how far UConn basketball has fallen since the days of Ben Gordon and Okafor... it is just a stupid statement

After reading your posts for the past couple of months it's obvious that you're so ridiculously biased towards the ACC. The ACC powers that be are afraid to schedule something like that Big East Challenge. Oh no...we wouldn't want any great ACC teams beat on national TV. Almost forgot to mention that the refs are always so biased towards ACC schools in this challenge.

     I live in the district so I get a load of Terps and Hoyas...I would like to think I know these teams well...Maryland seems to be out a real slow start struggling against lower comp...smack by the bruins...and losing to an average mizzoui...But their seems to be several factors on why MD should smack the illini...Guard play advantage Terps...Vasques/Hayes vs Frazier/Meachem...Even though the illini backcourt has 1 year more experience...Terps backcourt is better overall...Not over looking the fact that Frazier is from Baltimore so he's looking to light it up in from of the home crowd...Front court...Pruitt/Randle is a problem..especially Randle because the Terps have conventional inside bigs...Randle can step outside...But I think Gist is quick enough to stick him on the arc...and Osby is tough down low defensively and offensively...Then come bench play...I think illini has the advantage they go about 4 deep..and the kid Brock is better than anyone on the Terps bench...The question is can Illinois handle the press and a crazy Terps crowd... I'm not seeing...That crowd makes a luke warm terps team hot...What do you think ACC?

I would be happy with a Big East ACC challange.  I think the games would be good.  Unfortunatly I don't control those things.  However Head to Head this year the ACC is beating the big east 4-2... and the only games on national television so far the big east has lost.  Another one coming up with UVA vs Cuse on wednesday.  Maybe the Big East will catch up
