3 for 3 day yesterday as our YTD board is looking pretty good. Been pretty aggressive last few play, so for our best interest, I’ll prob simmer it down a bit, unless of course something looks profitable. Again, appreciate the + feedback. Stay humble and continue to work hard Covers Fam.
San Diego State -7 (1U)
This year’s BYU team is is not the same as LY. 3 key seniors -Haws, Childs, and Toolsonare all gone. Their backcourt prob has had one of the biggest drop off’s in the nation from LY. Guards don’t show good leadership and lack athleticism. Team’s front court is much taller, but lacks a solid base and strong hands.
On the flip side , SDSU I think did a fairly good job against defending one of the better backcourts in the nation in ASU...held 2 guards to 4-16 FG & 3-11 from the arc. SD State 3-5 positions are also pretty good filling in the paint defensively...don’t think they’ll have any issuesvs a very unstable BYU front court.
Overall, I think BYU is outmatched from 1-5 positions. Team is still rebuilding and chemistry will take at least 1- 2 years to develop. Aztecs seem like a solid value play at just -7. Think they win by at least 9+.

Agree with you here. SDSU has been playing solid ball. When I look at BYU record against the the teams they have played. It's not very convincing like of before. They struggle to score, have scoring droughts, pretty much like you said, the whole team in general when from like a A grade to like C- if not lower grade team.

Both teams coming off dd lost to 2 Top 10 teams in WV & Wisconsin.
Richmond runs a very efficient Princeton style offense and has solid backcourt w/ quickness and shooting ability. Loyola of Chicago’s offense is primarily centered around their Center/Kurwig - move his feet well, great vision, and shoots a very impressive 63% from the field.
Although I think Richmond is more skilled at the 1-2 position, the Ramblers however are more disciplined defensively at the 1-2-5 positions. They’re smart defensively- they get their hand up, switch well on picks, slide their feet...not afraid to get their hands dirty. I think defensively they can counter w/ the Spiders efficient offense. I think Richmond guards has a better first step, but I just think they have a tendency to lay off defensively at times. I’ll go with the hard nose defensive team @ home + +3.5 @ home with the today’s value play.

I’d love to watch all the games, but no I don’t. I study more tape and certain aspects of the game. The actual game is really just the results of all these variables put together.

was playing both of those picks today. beat me to it. great stuff. byu struggles against slow paced teams. they want forced turnovers from their spread out d. and haarms is a giant box. lol. good luck today. keep crushin' it!
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

MAC’s two of worst projected teams tip off. 4 starters are gone for CM, and back is PG Lane. Solid, good eyes, feet, and can play defense. WM also has a talented Pg in B Artis..great jump shot, can see the floor, and drive with finesse to the rim.
Simply going with the better PG and Coach. I think Lane can do his thing if he guards B Artis. Stronger more experienced guard than can put a body on a lighter Artis.
Coach Keno Davis is a players type coach. Better coach out of the 2 playing today for sure. Young guys love to run and his team LY averaged 78 ppg ranking 1st in the MAC and 22st nationally. New groups of guys, but I think they have depth more so than any year. Pretty talented new group that can defend, has inside pretense, and are athletic.
Fill them bags.
