Washington State is 5-0, with key  guard Bonton returning- good passer (led team in assist) and was 2nd leading scorer for the Cougs LY.  Team defensively is very disciplined...they have not allowed an opponent to reach 70-point mark yet, as their defense ranks 12th in FG %(34%) and scoring D is 24th (58.6).

Why do I like Montana State? I love underated guards and the Bobcats has 2....Adamu and Bishop. They compliment each other well. Adamu has an explosive 1st step, can elevate, and has tremendous foot work. Bishop is a 5’9” PG that has good speed, solid handles and has a solid pull up. I also like their big Jubrile Belo... avg dd last year and was named Big Sky Newcomer of the year.  

KEY: The Bobcats/Belo needs crash the boards and take care of the basketball vs a physical Cougs team...22 2nd chance points and 14 points of TO last D1 game vs Pacific was story of the game.

Going to bank on Bobcats guards to take care of the ball better and score enough to keep this game close...Also banking on Cougs leading scorer Bonton to continue to struggle shooting...28% FG, 67% from the stripe.

Key side note: Bobcats tallied a 16-4 mark when holding opponents to 70 or less and 14-6 when it outshot opponents. With a total set @ 132, I expect Cougs to score <70 as they’re scores have avg 63.2 (scores of 56, 71, 59, 61, 69)
