Riding Indiana 2X for Large is risky, but I’ve got my reasonings…
*Indiana is currently in…@ the moment. Several teams breathing down their backs. Win and it’s guaranteed, lose and they’ll have to wait until Sunday.
*Watched the last game these 2 played and noticed some key things… Illinois has 2 offensive moves…go down low and make they’re opponents pay or guards move around the 3 to get that open jumper. Momentum is very up and down…I don’t like it at all vs Indi. March is a moment of floor spacing, patience, & defense. Indi meets these characteristics.
Give me Indi to keep it close.

Looking at the Illini first half. Kinda think Indy is in a prime spot to start sluggish after that comeback yesterday. Michigan got pretty stupid, and looked tired out there. Early on they smashed Indiana though & one thing the Hoosiers aren’t good at is guarding the 3. Illinois can exploit this.
My concern would be Illinois hasn’t played on this court yet, big arena & can be a tough adjustment with the backdrop for shooters. If shots are falling early for the Illini this could be a blow out. Don’t like the matchup for Indy here, but again all depends on if the shots from the outside are falling, if not then you may have a live one with Indy

I was going to say compared to what 2 hours from Champaign? I won't factor that into any reasoning. Also since Illinois is the #1 seed, plenty of Illini fans are going to attend to make it a hopefully a "long weekend" in Indianapolis.

Add to it Michigan is a team in disarray. I wouldn't put any stock from that game into the game vs Illinois. Teams with two totally different lookerrooms at the moment. One where their coach is a loose cannon and has likely lost the respect of the team (Michigan) vs another team who is riding high at the moment after getting their first big ten regular season championship since 2005 (Illinois)

Yeah Michigan definitely likes coach Howard I don’t think that factors into it at all. The problem is he doesn’t use the depth at all. They played fatigued and made mistakes in that game. Can’t believe he doesn’t play the bench more. Kobe Bufkin is gonna be a great player and he never saw the floor. Kid is a freshman and put the dagger in OSU on the road the other day with a late 3. Howard loves Devante Jones but he’s a total liability with TO’s. He can be great or stall the offense. He gets selfish, turns it over a ton and it leads to this 28-4 run. How does Hunter Dickinson not touch the ball when that’s going on? Because Jones tries to do too much.
We will see, I guess after consideration there’s something I like more in this first game of the day, will put in my own thread though don’t mean to clog up LVs space but nice discussing the games with you all! Best of luck today
