I was extremely close to making UNC over 149 my $$$$ play but I will hold - Be careful here with anyone playing the under.....3 of the 4 games in that building yesterday went over by 30+.......

Good morning, didn't have the time to lock in san Diego state this morning at -7 . Am making my $$$$ play San Diego state currently at -7 1/2. The Aztecs have been on a roll since the middle of January . Realize that there have been a couple of blips  namely, boise  state and Fresno  State on their recent resume. Steve Fisher like some other coaches gets his team ready for March. Also note the the mountain west conference is not a lock for more than one bid this . Obviously more pressur to take the decision out of hands of the committee. Obviously , would have like to post -7 , but -7 1/2 $$$$ it is.
Always buy the hook .

Notre dame +2.5

they play duke well and with duke barely getting winning yesterdays match vs sc duke is ripe for the pickings with there short bench
i can see duke not caring about this tournament so much and looking forward to the big dance

My record is 2-0. I hope to post some plays to get on the board, but I only post when I have a great feel for the game.

Now, if you asked the Duke players about this game today against Notre Dame, I am sure they are all going to be fired up....ALL 7 of them. Coach K only plays 7 deep and this team just finished a game less than 24 hours ago vs. NC State that was up and down the court at a breakneck pace all game long. I expect that Duke may be able to hang early, but the rested Notre Dame squad will likely be able to take advantage of tired legs as the game progresses.

A side angle to this game is Coach K's desire to play 3 or 4 games in 4 days before the NCAA tournament. Coach K is not stupid. He knows his kids need rest and not a grueling 4 days of basketball that could wipe out his 7 player rotation. I would not be shocked if Coach K decided to go more than 7 deep for this contest....not really throwing in the towel, but realizing the challenges that lie ahead with a rotation of only 2 bench players.

All this and you can get a bucket with Notre Dame? Really?

I agree with this pick 100%. I was tying my post on Notre Dame plus 2 as you were posting! Duke will fade out of this tournament and prepare for next week when they only have to play 2 games each week.......not 4 games in 4 days.

To the Puck heads out there..... How could you not lay the juice on the San Jose Sharks tonight ?  I think that is what I like about hockey lines is that even when it is David vs Goliath you aren't getting a ML at -900. I mean New Jersey is one of the worst teams in goals per game, they don't have their starting goalie and San Jose is within striking distance of the top two teams in the Pacific.  San Jose hasn't been that sharp at home but the Devils have lost 8 of 10.  Give me San Jose -250

Not watching the game just checking the computer, but any chance of Fordham waking up in the second half?  -3 seems low, anyone got an opinion on that one.  Thanks and love reading up on all the insight

Villanova just beat them 84-71 at the Wells Fargo last weekend. In that game Georgetown's Smith-Rivera was 1-11 from the field and 0 for 7 from long range. Looking for him to have a big bounce back game here as a Senior and leave it all on the floor. Georgetown also had a 38-30 rebounding edge that game just couldn't get things going from behind the arc going 4-26.

Villanova's last trip to MSG was a month or so ago against St.John's where they didn't shoot the ball particularly well going 36% from the field with an uncharacteristic 20 turnovers.

The bright lights of MSG can bring parity to a lot of teams, we've seen it year in and year out.

First off, love this thread and those have whom contributed, whether win or lose.  It's up to us individually what plays we tail and do not.  First time posting, long time "lurker".  My two cents for today is VTech +9.  This team has been hot as of late, winners of their last 6 (5 of those games being underdogs) and their most recent match up back on 3/5 resulted in a 15 point victory over Miami.  Maybe the line is so high because of the "revenge" factor, but I will take $$$$ VTech +9$$$$ as the value play.  BOL today!!

First time around, I started with $100 bux and won my first $$$$
all in 2nd $$$$ and won
all in 3rd $$$$ and won

I then banked

4th $$$$ I bet $100 again and won
all in 5th $$$$ and won
all in 6th $$$$ pending

if win today, I am going to bank and start with $100 again.

Tulane (10-21 SU, 9-15-1 ATS)  vs
central florida (12-17 SU, 17-10 ATS)

Tulane beat duq yesterday and I am not impressed.  I do not think that they are a cinerella team.  I am pissed that tulane was able to beat them duq.  This will be my revenge play here. 

This next level, tulane will need everything they have to beat the next level up but I think they got tired legs from last night plus, tulane from narleans, they love to party. 

Tulane is still dead last in the conference with just 3 wins and 2 of those had to go to overtime. 

Central florida also got a poor record but a tad better than tulane.  What makes the difference is that central florida knows how to cover ATS. 

ucf won 3 more games than tulane in conference play. 

These two teams have played before and both times, UCF kicked tulane's butt by 12 and 8 points.  Now the spread is too generous here. 

The Knights are:

  • 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Thursday games.
  • 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400.
  • 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record.
  • 4-0 ATS in their last 4 neutral site games.

Look at that trend there.  EZ money isn't it?  Or is it?  Well, everything points to the better team and if bet, I put my money on the better team and if you happens to see a in this game, oh well.  At least I am not betting to see if a will show up or not.  You can't beat a lucky .  I take my chance with UCF.


so give me UCF -4.5 for big $$$$
