Little heads up on this game. When they beat them by 20 it was at Ohio St and it was tied at the half. Also Ohio St best player Tate had 15 points and 10 Reb. And he's out for the season, not telling it's a bad bet it that they won't cover. Just giving a little insight to anyone else who might want to tail. Good luck and I think they can still win and cover

Notre Dame made me nervous, but Duke flat out ran out of gas as I suspected they would.

The Duke D in the last 7 minutes and then in overtime was packed into the 2-3 zone with zero energy. Simply put, this Duke rotation is not built for a games-4 day tournament. They will likely fare better in NCAA's when they get a day off between games.

3rd Play of the week $$$$ Colorado +8 $$$$ (2-0 so far)

(Western KY would have been the play from this morning, but did not have time for write up. Anyway, had time to make it my Covers survivor pick.)

On to the Pac 12 conf....

Colorado vs AZ is played in Vegas....using away conf records for comparison.

Colorado
 *  Won 4 of 9 SU
 *  Won 4 of 9 ATS (Utah, USC, Wash St, Stanford)--at least 2 'quality' teams (top half of the conf)
 *  Won 4 of 6 ATS coming into conf play (since mid Feb)

Arizona
 *  Wonf 4 of 9 SU
 *  Won 4 of 9 ATS (AZ St, Stanford, Wash St, WA)--no 'quality' teams (all bottom half of the conf)
 *  Won 2 of 6 ATS coming into conf play (since mid Feb)

I'm going with the hotter team with more 'quality' wins. AZ also lost at Colorado this year by 3pts.  Both teams practically play the same away from home court. Therefore, I am taking the points with Colorado.

3-3 in posted plays so far. 

I'm rolling with the Friairs in tourney time to do the improbable and beat Butler three times in a season. Dunn and Bentil will come ready to play and will want to be playing their best ball with march madness coming up. I also think they might not feel as safe being a lock in the tourney after a poor second half. They will want to make some noise in what's shaping up to be a tough big east tourney. Also, they matchup extremely well against Butler because they don't have to settle for jumpers, they can get inside and wreak havoc which is what they do best.

Nice play!! I am a PC grad and I missed this one. I looked at lines this morning half asleep and thought they were MINUS 3.5!! Thought about making that my play! I wish I knew they were grabbing 4!! PC is tough against teams with no true big guys. They might hang with Villanova tomorrow! Nice pick!!

I am leaning on going Colorado on this as well but worry that Arizona's 3 point shooting ability may be the deciding factor....I need to decide soon!

Thanks for the updates everyone.  My first time betting golf in awhile and I accidentally took Kuchar -.5 instead of the ML so I'm really hoping he squeaks it out.

Also wanted to add this, already used my $$$$ on Providence +4 and it was cash but if there was ever a day to use two I would put it on Ole Miss -3.  

Ole Miss is just coming off a huge win on their senior night where Stefan Moody looked unstoppable.  They already beat Alabama by 8 once at home. I really like the way this Ole Miss team is playing of late now that they are finally healthy.  I expect both Saiz and Moody to have huge games tonight and although I think Alabama keeps it close for awhile (have to respect Avery Johnson with a few days to prepare) I see Ole Miss pulling away in crunchtime.  Alabama has been reallyyyyy struggling lately and played their way out of the tournament in my opinion while Ole Miss, also on the outside looking in, can possibly make a run in the SEC (yea I got them at +5000, a man can dream right?)  So although this is not a $$$$ play, I would make it one if I could.  Ole Miss -3

Arguably the best team in the Pac, have too much inside and out for USC. I see the Austrian putting up 18 with double digit rebounds and 6 blocked shots. The bigs win for the Utes.

$$$$Den/Pho over 215 $$$$

Two teams who play uptempo and fast. Phoenix has been playing better lately and could keep it close. In order to do that they are going to have to score score score. They also play horrible defense so they will be giving up a ton. This game will probably hit 220+. 

I lost last night when OKC collapsed right before half and let LAC tie it up. Moves my record to 4-1-1. 

Also am liking California -7 tonight

3-3 record overall, 0-2 this week

Georgia Tech v Virginia

Virginia comes into this game 24-6, one of those losses came to GTech.  Tech did a fantastic job on the glass in the first meeting, total team effort, with a 39-26 advantage.  Another performance like that should allow Tech to hang around in this game, if not have a chance to win again. Tech is playing as well as anybody in the ACC the past few weeks.  The Cavaliers have one of the top defenses in the country, and Tech was able to find success in the January matchup, 30 games have been played, only 8 have put up 68+.  Not a very telling stat, but it's worth noting when you're getting 10 points and have been able to score on a defensive minded team.  Motivation factors on both sides here.  Virginia playing for a # 1 seed in tournament, GTech needs a couple of wins just to be in serious discussions for an invitation to the dance.  Tech is playing with a lot of confidence, and they don't quit.  They erased an 18 point deficit in under 10 minutes last night.  My only concern is they come out tired tonight, and get worn down by the Virginia defense. Marcus Georges- Hunt will be big time tonight! GTech has proven they can play on this level, I'll take the points, and a little on the ML at +425 for sh!ts and gigs

Fresno State (9PM ET CBS Sports Network) – Big $$$$ hit yesterday on Virginia Tech and today we head out to Vegas for the Mountain West Conference Tournament with a quarterfinal showdown between the #7 seed and host school UNLV Runnin Rebels and the #2 seed Fresno State Bulldogs.  UNLV might have home court advantage here but we have been fading this Rebels team all season and all home court really does is create value in all of their opponents as we saw UNLV as a double digit favorite yesterday need three overtimes to get by lowly Air Force.  A slew of injuries has left UNLV with just seven scholarship players on the roster and all of these guys logged huge minutes in yesterday’s triple overtime marathon with the Falcons.  Fresno State had a similar injury crisis back in early February but the Bulldogs showed off their depth as it only cost them one game at Nevada and despite having to mix and match starting lineups for a couple weeks the Bulldogs were able to rattle off wins in eight of their last nine games.  Since returning to full strength the Fresno State offense has a second gear and not only do the Bulldogs have six wins in a row but they are averaging a whopping 88.3 points per game over their last three.  Fresno State is an NCAA tournament team this year with a superstar in Marvelle Harris who averages 20.9 points per game and an excellent supporting cast who call all score the basketball and many of whom gained valuable experience playing extended minutes as a result of basically every starter missing time at some point in February.  Fresno State will likely need to win this conference tournament to get an at large bid but the Bulldogs are well rested, healthy and primed to make a run and it starts when they beat a UNLV team that is ravaged by injuries, fatigued from yesterday, and was just never very good this season to begin with

Playing the -3 on here per the site rules but if you can get -140 or -145 on this ML you could consider the ML as value here.    Either way, UNLV is a pathetic team and regardless if they are home or not Fresno State is head and shoulders better and should roll them tonight.
