This guy is IMPOSSIBLE to like.. He is not even a good X's and O's coach. Notre dame PISSED that game away with two terrible possessions down the stretch. He should be thanking his lucky stars he isn't going home tonight. He is so arrogant. POS

I am starting to agree with you. And of course he chalks up the scare to "well we didn't play very well".... Never fails.... No class... Didn't even give Notre Dame their due....

He was scared. He was flushed out pale and scared.  The thought of losing was there. Bad possession at the end. Bad defending by ND. Better to foul quickly and leave yourself a chance to tie or go ahead. Shudda fouled with 20 sec left.

 The young man standing with his dad at the end being interviewed gave Notre Dame big props. The Kentucky coach, well he has no respect for anyone. Glad UConn beat him last year and hope he loses again this year. Karma is a girl! He recruits players who do not go to school and only play ball. Just ask any student at UK are any BB players in your class room everyday. No but they are at practice everyday!

They are not winning it all. They are flawed. They can't score outside of the paint. Wisconsin or winner of Duke Gonzaga will beat them. Can't wait to see his face when he loses. What a scumbag. Best part is none of these kids besides Towns going to do anything in the NBA. Greatness my ass. Ugliest basketball I've ever seen. Volleyball on the boards and get enough easy put backs. They miss about 12 one footers a game. Get the fuck outta here with this garbage.

I want to see Duke Beat them so badly

He did give Notre Dame their due, actually telling the audience that Notre Dame played great and are a great team and told everyone to give them a round of applause. So you can step off that high horse now. The guy is a GREAT coach. No average coach would be looking at the potential for an undefeated season and that is a fact!

John Calipari is a disease and what he's done is bad for the sport with the 1 and dones. And BTW it's be bad for the sport if Michigan had the same thing ala the fab 5. the fab 5 wasn't good for college hoops either

The fab 5 was great for basketball. Calipari didn't invent the one and done and doesn't like the rule. As a coach you have to recruit the best. You can dislike Cal, but you can't honestly say the guy isn't a great coach. All he does is win. This team is competing to do something everyone thought was impossible and have done it playing a tough schedule. UL, Kansas, Texas, North Carolina, now add WVU, ND...

Totally disagree on the Fab Five statement.  Cal is arrogant and annoying at times, but he's won everywhere he has been in CBB and built a factory at UK

Well are you saying they played well? The twins played real bad most of the game.

He's a garbage X's and O's coach and his one of the biggest choke artists in the game.. They aren't winning it all and I will come back to this post and eat crow if they do...
They are extremely flawed. Notre dame will be the first to tell you. They had them on the ropes and didnt even play close to their max potential. They had 3 terrible possessions down the stretch. Connaughton missing that second FT.. Turnovers, everything. In that spot you can't not get a shot off inside of a minute. Terrible job by Brey not saving a timeout.

Wisconsin or winner of Duke Gonzaga will beat KENTUCKY.

The team is great.They have not lost a game. What are you smoking? Will you let me in on it?

Not saying they are not beatable, Wisky will beat them. But give credit were credit is due.

Please inform me what constitutes a "real basketball team". I'd love to hear your educated opinion on this one.

Last I checked, Cal didn't create the one-and-done rule. In fact, he's said countless times he despises the rule.  But I suppose I'd hate him too if he wasn't the coach of my team and dominating the sport like he is.  But keep hating, it makes all these wins that much sweeter.

LOL, all these people hating a coach that does nothing but win, then your panties get in a bunch if he doesn't give credit to a team that most of you could give 2shits about because they gave them a scare. Who carers, he gets great players and wins, they are 38 - 0   don't see anyone on this forum that can boast that.  Quit being a bunch of Marys and take your loss like the Irish did.
