My SFA play the other night was a complete dud. I paid more attention to the skewed defensive metrics with SFA , than I did with the true SOS of both of those teams. As bad as NO’s record is , they played a tougher schedule YTD. Didn’t have time to post yesterday but, got a W with the Jonnie’s yesterday. No know on here will win every wager, I don’t care how good someone is. This game tonight is the type of game that Cinncy has been waiting for. They get to play a team from their old conference, that are in the same new conference that they’re both in now. Cinncy has beaten this team multiple times in the past few years. They have the blueprint on how to beat this team . Yeah UCF scores damn near 80 pts a game but, they give almost the same # that they score ( 78.8 pts a game on defense they allow. Bearcats allow 63.0 pts a game. The Bearcats only allow 46.1 % in effective FG% , compared to UCF’s 50.9 %, which is extremely poor. As many pts as UCF scores per game, Cinncy’s average score margin on offense is actually higher. Cinncy average score margin ( + 7 ) compared to UCF’s ( + 0.9 ) Very poor for a team that scores as much as they do. UCF also commits way too many fouls, they commit 17.0 fouls a game compared to Cinncy @ 13.6 fouls per game. Teams that foul @ a high rate are teams that lack discipline and schematics. Also KP let’s me know that , as many pts UCF scores per game, their offense effective FG % is only 187th nationally, that’s a joke. Cinncy scores 70.0 pts per game and their effective FG% is 20th nationally. Huge difference. Effective FG possession ratio both teams offensively and defensively. Bearcats ( 1.004 19th ) nationally, UCF ( 0.970 99th ) this means that on offense and defense, Cinncy is making a lot better decisions. Bench minutes continuity: Cinncy ranks 23rd nationally ( 59.1 % of game time) compared to UCF’s ranking @ 265th. SOS UCF stronger by a small margin. UCF per KP ( + 10.73 ) Cinncy ( + 7.15 ) last but not least, my main man Mac Attack are on Cinncy as well. Normally when we both are on the same team, that’s a real good thing. Cinncy + 3.5 larger than normal. GL
