Covid, Vaccine, March Madness

We should let all D-1 basketball players get the vaccine. This will ensure a successful March Madness. I know it sounds controversial as there is a priority for who should be taking the vaccine but March Madness will help the economy, help the school, the players, also raising the awareness of how safe is the vaccine. To me, ensuring a successful March Madness is as important as anything else. The players can opt out of taking the vaccine and they will not play in the tournament.

So far, I haven't see anyone in the US got really sick from the vaccine. They all got recovered. Even my in-laws over 80 are doing fine after the first dose of Moderna

America has the most cases and deaths,China where it is suppose to have happened has less than us, it is Taiwan that had ONE case Feb.First,and average 3 cases a week,why? Because when they were told to wear mask and stay home they did, but American's that drank the kool aid kept going as it was nothing because someone said it was no big deal.

We need the vaccine because our rights were being taken away by Govt. or State lockdown rules,Taiwan did not need a vaccine, take a look at those that put us where we are instead of wanting to watch a CBB game, even now that 20 to 30 games not being played a day, march madness is not the issue.

And by the way, I’ve had covid. I wore masks at all times when out. I live in the commiewealth of Pennsylvania and we’ve been shut down for months. We played the game, the game failed and we’re done with it. Vaccinate the sick and elderly and let people live their lives again

I think I’m stupider reading some of these replies, yea China isn’t skewing the #s at all ??. How convenient that the US hasn’t been tracking flu or pneumonia since last yr. Elderly those w compromised immune systems sure I can see why u want the vaccine, but I’ll take my chances w a virus that I have 99.7% recovery rate with. I’m sure most young healthy D1 athletes will do that same. Oh by the way the malaria drug Trump touted works and has a better recovery rate then the vaccine.

The tournament will be played, maybe some teams with some missing players but they are going to play and none of them will die.

If the NBA is close to reach an agreement to play an all star game, what makes you think the tournament is in danger vaccine or not?
