If it was easier to catch than it would not happen so frequently - but it is the nature of the beast. ESPN did a story a few years back and I believe they reported that around 5 percent of college athletes admitted to fixing or betting on games they played in. Key word admitt - that number is probably a few points higher and is a rude awakening to anyone who thinks it does not exist. |
