I missed the opening (best) line of 8.5 so I will likely let it go. UMass' style probably negates Herb Pope to an extent, but I worry about fatigue with all the travel they've had over the past week or so.

Like Ohio and Virginia but both have lost a ton of value at their current numbers. Still I bet at least 1 of 2 will win SU.

Ooof. Tough game. I went back and forth a few times but ultimately went with Saint Mary's in my bracket. Hummel against Rob Jones should be fun to watch, but I value Randy Bennett over Matt Painter in a tournament setting and think Stephen Holt's return reallyyyy helps the Gaels' perimeter defense. Going on memory here, but the emphasis of the Gaels' D is to not allow 3-point attempts. If Purdue isn't hitting threes, not sure where they find their points.

Yep, might be better to see if a nice number comes up via live betting. A small Florida lead at the first TV timeout would create value.

J --- saw your tweet the other day, sorry I never got back to you. Was picking up a ton of hours early in the week so I could have Thurs/Friday off. Haven't been doing well lately anyway, but maybe I can right the ship over the next few days.

Looks like we're going head-to-head here on the NC State and Florida games. Damn! Well both games should be good, that's for sure. I like your Bonnies pick.

Belmont is 180 in points allowed GT 12th. 3.5 and 136. Looking at the lines Im thinking over any thoughts?

when you think your winning and having a good day, thats just because its not a busy day, not too many gamblers on that game etc... They will get you in the end because you keep playing and betting. STOP WHEN AHEAD AND USE MONEY MANAGEMENT otherwise they take your all in EVERYTIME EVERYTIME

Nice to see four of my VERY longshots get matched up with each other in the first round. Guaranteed to have two of Vandy/Harvard/Beach/New Mexico in the second round. Keep in mind, especially with the lower ones, I'm just trying to create hedge spots for the Sweet 16.


Hey JFen,

could you please explain how you manage these hedge spots. Lets say I m on vandy to win the tournement. Would you bet a single bet on wisconsin in the 2 nd round and then play another bet double the size on syracuse if they face vandy in the sweet 16?

Appreciate your help.

I looked over the Mich Ohio game and Ohio just played Akron in a close game total 129 then Akron went to N.W and total was 150. Just dont see a under against Ohio. Purdue St. Marys as you say interesting game. Holt hasnt played in a while believe 6 games and Im sure he will help. Purdue last 10 games 9 have gone over so I agree there coach sucks. Kids are really playing great offensive BB but absolutely no D. I still think with the offensive players they have they will score many points and dont see much effort defensively. I am playing over in both games and Purdue in a shootout. I know you mentioned under in Mich game as a lean but i just dont see it based on them playing Akron and then Akron allowing 76 in N.W. and scoring 74.

Any thoughts on St. Louis tonite?

Sorry for not responding - was posting on the run.

Total on the Ohio-Michigan game was a tough read for me. I'll be rooting for you on the SMC/Purdue play and obviously our LIU-Michigan State bet.

Haven't seen any of the Saint Louis game other than the buzzer-beater at the end, so no real thoughts on that one to this point.
