Another great day thursday going 6-3 which could of been 8-1 if it wasnt for 2 late game choke jobs by marquette and mid tenn st.  Friday is not much action but some games im liking alot so its more opportunity to continue to roll.  Lets go get em

POD - PROVIDENCE +2.5

Game of the year for the friars on friday. A loss here will be very troubling to providence tourney chances. Providence lost to shall 81-80 in ot at home on new years eve and getting swept by them will doom their chances from making the tournament. Shall has lost at home to Butler marquette and st johns and are only 9-7 at home while providence is a not bad 4-5 on the road. I love Cotton and Henton to lead providence to a huge victory tomorrow and keep alive their tourney chances.

Providence ML +120 or something when it comes out

First meeting was won by Yale 66-65 in Ot. I expect this meeting to come down to the wire as well.  Princeton has struggled going 4-6 in their last 10 games with Home losses to harvard and columbia 2 of those losses. Yale is 8-2 in the last 10 games including a win at Harvard and beating princeton at home. The 2 losses were on the road to brown and columbia by double digits which is a little concerning but i think this game will come down to the last 2 mins none the less. Yale + the pts for the win

CAVS -3.5

Utah coming east with to face rejuvenated cavs. Give me Kyrie and the cavs at home coming off a huge win against the Thunder. Hawes has added a nice dimension to the cavs and Deng professionalism is rubbing off on them. Still a shot at playoffs and i expect them to beat jazz by 6-10 tonight

COLUMBIA -4.5

4.5 PT FAVS ON THE ROAD for a reason. Losing Maldunas was bad for dartmouth and they havent been the same since. Columbia pulls away and covers late.

I would take another look at the "Friars on the road".  2 different teams.........they are great at home then you watch them on the road and its just not the same.  I think the Friars have the hardest time every year when they travel. The best road win they had this year was against St. Johns and they beat Butler last game but who else have they beat on the road that is decent? DePaul?  They are just not the same team when they play at the Dunkin Donuts Center. whatever the case is, an automatiic red flag pops up for me when i see them on the road.

shall is not a tough place to play at all. They lost to butler at home. pretty sure providence knows they cant afford to lose tonight or else tourney hopes are gone. Shall just lost to depaul and are playing out the string. Ill go with the team with everything on the line here.

I hear what your saying.  Friars have something to play for SH doesnt.  Just remember, Friars have all the pressure on the road while SH can be the home spoiler.  Sometimes teams that have nothing to play for actually do have something to play for......to end another teams run.  Or they could just give up and say the season is over.  Not saying your pick is bad.  I like the friars and want them to win.  Its all about SH's mind set.  I'm going to wait and place a live wager.
