yeah i know. Im watching mets baseball right now and im excited watching Montero and Degrom throwing 4 scoreless hitless innings. If mets can get some more hitting and the bullpen comes together this year will be exciting and next season will be top of the division possible!  30 days away from opening day

Yea I agree. Of all the things you can criticize Alderson and the mets about, the lack of a bullpen the last few years bothers me a lot. Hopefully they'll stick some of these young arms (guys w/ upside) in there... obviously service time is an issue though. I'm not a fan of valverde, but it sounds like he's been kind of a leader to some of the young pitchers so I can live w/ him in the pen

It'd be nice to sign Drew to a 2 or 3 year deal and hopefully niese will be ok. Unfortunately, I don't see them winning more than 80 games this year , regardless of the crap alderson is spewing about this being a 90 win team ha. Hopefully the young guys like D'arnaud, lagares, and the pitchers will keep progressing and we'll get to see some of these young pitchers in the middle of the season. that'll at least make the 2nd half of the season exciting

Yeah 90 wins ain't happening unless they have a surprising 1st half and every single thing goes right from ike turning into 30 hr again young playing like he did before grandy providing wright protection. Familia and young arms rise in bullpen they get drew or franklin to play sd darnaud takes the next step
