SEC games are my specialty. Arkansas gets too much credit for being good. Bud Walton Arena is the toughest place to play in the SEC, but they can't take it with them on the road. Alabama is sitting squarely on the cut line. Their coach is a champion. He teaches them to win and Arkansas is Arkansas on the road.

1. NCAA tournament. Alabama NEEDS this game for any hope at the NCAA's. They are on the bubble and this game is a must win for them.
2. 3 Point Shooting. Arkansas is the leading 3 point shooting team in the SEC at almost 41%! They are 9th in the nation! So why are we betting against one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the country you ask? Well, because they are on the road. There is a direct correlation between Arkansas going 2-11 on the road this year and the fact that they absolutely live and die by the 3 point shot. While they are shooting 41% for the year, they are only shooting 33% away. Even further, Alabama is 43rd in the nation holding opponents to 32% on 3 pointers. Look for Arkansas to shoot well under it's season average of 41% for this game and for a team that relies on 3 pointers for so much of the offense, it won't be enough points to win.
3. Soft factors:
Alabama averages 13,223 fans per game at home (4th in SEC) being that it's senior night I think this will be one of the better home court 6th man advantages in the SEC right now.
Alabama is 19-5 all time at home against Arkansas
This game should mean nothing to Arkansas and with the atmosphere being so pro-Alabama, it will be very easy for them to get down in this game and give up. This is the time of year where it's important to remember that these are college kids on losing teams that would rather be drinking cheap beer and skimming through tinder than in a battle with a home team on senior night fighting like dogs to get into the NCAA tournament.
GOOD LUCK!

Thank you slick for the added info on tenn tech game. I figured it was in tennessee so that that was home court. LolTailing ol miss rebels and liking the no baller angle first time around that they lost. This revenge angle is a must play for me. Any more? I'll tail
Not a money play, but I'm tailing USC. As mentioned, must win tonight, they are reeling having lost 3 in a row. They are at home and playing ore state, who are nothing special. USC once looked like they were gonna win the pac 12 outright at one point. I'm hammering the ml at -240

Careful here...Oregon State is on the bubble and USC looks to be in absolute disarray. There are a lot of other good plays on the board today! Would you be surprised if USC lost straight up in this position?

In my opinion we are at the SAME SITUATION as Kansas @ Texas last Monday. Oregon needs this win UCLA to secure his conference win as Kansas needed to win Texas in order to secure the conference and stay the leader of the table (The same as Oregon).
Otherwise Oregon fell @ Stanford and California as UCLA also fell @ Stanford and California.
Oregon is at the Top-3 best visitors in Pac-12 and UCLA the second last Local team in the conference.
In therms of scoring they are evenly matched but in defense, Oregon is really strong with some blockers like Boucher so... Oregon is really motivated for this match and they will fight for the title that they are touching with the fingers, they just need to win UCLA and UCLA is really not having a good time since the Coach is being fired by the fans, that will make him held down maybe.
As the big dog of this thread says (@rf_dawg) UCLA plays here for nothing, also the same situation of COLO @ ASU (ASU was playing for nothing).
So my pick $$$$ is Oregon -2,5. BOL to all and lets beat also the Bookies!!

There we go with $$$$ pick.

Not for nothing but we have enough Alabama write ups . I did like Alabama but like yesterday and Ball st I saw so many people taking Ball st it scared me and low and behold they lost SU. Not saying Alabama is going to loose. Arkansas is play well as of late and statically speaking they're better than Alabama that's just my 2 cents on that game

Ok so I'm going to dive into the NBA for my $$$$ play
WASHINGTON WIZARDS -4
I'm really liking what I'm seeing from this team as of late. Pushing the rock like hustlers on the block. And they're up against a team that's 10-20 at home. So to make a long story short I'm rolling with the hot team USC lock me in WASHINGTON WIZARDS -4

I think the point of the thread is for everyone to give their input and angle on the game, it is up to you if you want to "tail". This is a great resource and multiple posters making $$$$ plays on one team doesnt correlate at all to the outcome of the game, ie public play, jinx/any other boogie man scenarios.
If that was the case then shouldnt we have faded KANSAS vs texas or SETON HALL v xavier or many other games where several posters cap a team with $$$$ confidence?
Just my 2 cents, good luck with your plays

My $$$$ play for tonight, Butler -4.5 over Seton Hall. A couple of things caught my eye. Bulldogs 11-3 at home this year. Also, on 2.10.16 Butler beat the Pirates in Jersey 81-75. Now we are in Indy. Last but not least, Butler is 5-1 the last 6 SU & 6-0 ATS. Enough for me.
As always, GLTA
My $$$$ play is Butler -4.5.

I am passing on a $$$$ play. Really like that Aberdeen-Dundee Utd over (thus my double wager), but Aberdeen's top striker Adam Rooney is out, so feel it's not $$$$ worthy, although my wager stands as is, and still like BTTS too, with United's much less than stellar defense.

I would be a little surprised if USC lost, yes. Oregon state to me is def not a tourney team. This USC team to me is much better then they have showed the last three games. But you are right, they are def capable of losing this game, which is why it's not a money play (well I'm doing ml anyhow so wouldn't be eligible) for me. I just think USC gets back on track at home against a mediocre ore state team.

Actually wasn't many write ups for Kansas, Seton Hall, or Xavier.. be that's besides the point the point is to help each other and posting a team over and over isn't much help it's like your tryin to convince me to make this pick there's is over 20 games all sports to pick from having the same team multiple times actually keeps people from taking said $$$$ pick (ie Ball st. last night) more games capped is better for the thread than the same team

Disagree.
I want as much information about games as I can get. If ten people have input on the same game, so be it.

I think people are getting the message boards confused with The $$$$ Thread. There was only one $$$$ on Ball State last night, so I don't think it was all over this board. It might have been on other threads, but not here. The night before, there were 4 $$$$'s on Kansas, so, obviously, I would say that WAS a very popular play on The $$$$ Thread.
Here is my opinion after having done this for almost 30 years - the "Everyone is on that play so I am going against it" hits at 50%, just like every other "trend" every created. Plus, it is each individual's opinion as to what is a "Everyone is on it" play since some people see a play as "Everyone is on it" and others don't see it at all.
Also, keep in mind that when the top $$$$'ers here post a $$$$, they are going to be tailed by a lot of people. That is the point of why we have this thread. Just because people are tailing a Top $$$$'er doesn't mean that much. Its just people tailing other people. Its the basic point of the thread.
Just my 2 cents guys. Good luck today.

If there are 37 people who think that Team X is their "$$$$", I want them all to post it. I don't want people to say "I like Team X for my $$$$, but 3 other people have already posted it, so I am going to go with Team Y instead". That is NOT what we want;. If 9 people agree on a $$$$, then that is great. Please post your best $$$$, regardless of how many people agree or disagree with you.
We want ALL input, whether its in agreement or disagreement. Sometimes, lots of people agree on a play. It means nothing. It doesn't affect the play at all. This is some random message board on the internet. If you think because 7 people came on here and agreed on the play that it affects the play, then you're in a fantasy land. Who knows? If you go over to ESPN, you might find a message board where 23 people agree on the OTHER side of that play. Does that mean that "Everyone is on that play" so our play is the right one?
We are all just random people typing words into a box on the internet and hitting "SUBMIT". Don't be so affected by what they agree on. It means nothing. Come to your conclusions based on your own interpretations.

Ill just leave this be in saying we are on the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to our take on the purpose of this thread.
USC summed it up quite nicely. good luck with the plays
