Indiana St. -5: Playing on a neutral court I feel these Sycamores are just double digits better than Tulsa....Jake Odum is leading the charge for Indy St. and is surrounded by a veteran core who are hungry to give Wichita St. a run in the Mo Valley....I think Tulsa's team defense (or lack of it) will be their downfall today as Indy St. comes into this contest averaging about 85 ppg and Tulsa has been giving up about 82ppg....meanwhile points will be tough to come by for Tulsa as they have been putting up a little under 72ppg this season already....maybe I'm fondly remembering Indy St.'s run through a similar early season tournament last year in Hawaii when they knocked off Ole Miss & Miami, FL and gave San Diego St. a decent game as well....they lost no one from that team and I think they might have a run in them like that one in Alaska this year

Kentucky -20 (bought the hook): Eastern Michigan could not pick a worse venue to play their first road game as they meet a Kentucky team with talent galore....Kentucky has been pretty dominate in their wins and played an awesome neutral court game with Michigan St. in the Tip Off Classic in Chicago....what really gets me in this one is the rebounding margin where Kentucky is +16.5 this young season so far and Eastern Michigan has been outrebounded by the likes of Cleveland St. & Texas-Arlington recently....Kentucky as you know goes at least two deep at every position with McDonald's All-American-types while EMU has scoring guard Ray Lee and then a bunch of average MAC players around him....this play could burn me as the Cats have sleepwalked through games like this before especially early in the season when their young talent hasn't gelled yet but I feel this is a spot where they win by 25-30

Kentucky -20 (bought the hook) ....only missed it by 2 but never even shoulda been that close....I knew this play would burn me as this team has no heart, no outside shooting, and they miss a TON of easy shots (layups, dunks, etc.)....YTD: 20-7-2

Friday 11/29/13

Arizona St. -11.5: Siding with the Sun Devils again here as I really like this teams inside-outside balance with Carson & Bachynski and the surrounding cast....C of C has had a couple of great years here & there building up their mid-major program but this will be a down year for them losing their leading scorer from last year & moving to the Colonial....ASU played VERY uninspired ball yesterday vs. Creighton and I expect them to right that ship today winning by 15-20

Got robbed on Ole Miss with that last .1 second play
